The staff was courteous. There was an event in town that caused the hotel to be full and there was a little bit of a party in the lobby. However, the coffee pot was clogged causing it to malfunction, the bedside alarm clock took a call to the front desk to begin to figure out how to set the correct time, and the mirrored closet door was off it's track totally falling and tipping the lamp over. Exactly what we expected. A perfect place to stay if you're going to be there for more than one day. Wish I could have stayed longer! The staff were wonderful and very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and had NO smoke smell. The halls did have smoke smell so I was a bit worried. The breakfast was great. The directions bring you to the back of the hotel and there is no sign. I stayed at this hotel for work and was a quick 2 minute walk away. The shuttle would have taken me a short distance if I needed. The workout facility was pretty good with machines and free weights. We were approved for early check-in; however, upon arrival I was told not so. Thank heavens I write everything down and the person that had given the approval for the early check-in was the person checking me in. When she realized I had it written down and not just looking at her name tag, she immediately checked us in and all was well. Didn't get breakfast […] on Sunday morning, tried twice. Came down, they even ran out of coffee. Went back to room to finish packing, shower, etc. Came back down to try again. Kept running out of food, no seating, way too many people for size of room.
