"no where to eat!"
The hotel was lovely, great service, clean, no mold. It's in a part of Morristown that has nothing near it! No shopping center, no restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I also really appreciated the well-lit hallways. It was only a few miles outside of Morristown where I was attending a conference. I came to NJ from CT for business and my employers paid for me to stay at the Hilton. They didnt pay for my weekend stay and I didnt want to drive back & forth over the weekend. "Good service and clean, but why the pool hours?"
My family stayed here to attend a weekend birthday party. We arrived from out of state late (9:45 p.m.) and the first room we were given had malfunctioning AC. A service man came up right away but couldn't get it working so we were given another room that was just fine. The hotel has a pool (one reason I chose it), but we were told that the pool had […] closed for the night and would not be open until 10 AM in the morning. Since we would be checking out by late morning to attend the birthday brunch we were unable to use the pool at all on a weekend when the temperatures were in the 90's both days. We have stayed here many times in the last 10 years. It is the most convenient hotel to our son's house. Only item which makes me a little hesitant to rate this hotel higher is the last two times we have stayed here, there seems to be a greater presence of security personnel at night. Louie and Michael were very nice and went to the extreme to please the customer. However, several "little" things I found very annoying. Some you may find petty and ridiculous but, I don't have these kind of complaints when I stay other places: No TV Channel Guide. The one on the screen was inaccurate and the fact that you didn't carry HLN was extremely […] annoying. Other than indicating how to connect to the DVD player or computer, how the heck do you get to the digital channels. I found by mistake and still had problems finding channels. Also, sometimes, HBO was at 22...other days at 82 The cab your recommended didn't take credit cards. I took a train to Manhattan and when I returned, it took me an hour to finally find a car to take back to the hotel at 1am; because none took credit cards, including the one your hotel recommended. Nice and clean hotel from the outside. Found 4 big bugs, kind of roaches but are not. Management move us to another room the next morning but damages already done...my kids are so afraid afterward to discover other bugs.
