My wife and I stayed at this motel during the week. First we noticed there were no towels. Then my wife saw a spider in the bathroom. The room dirty. We found evidence of bed bugs. No live bed bugs. The room was serviceable and adequate, but the overall condition was poor. Broken bath and light fixtures, dirty, stained carpets. A high volume, overall run down 'no star' hotel at best. "Ok for a one night stay, but no more..."
The only reason I selected this hotel was because it was close to a consulate and I wanted to avoid the morning traffic on the highway. The room I was given smelled, the plywood by the sink was hanging and looked like it was about to fall off, and some of the towels, although washed, had stains on them. Also, although the hotel is located on Sunset […] Blvd. it is on the shady end of that strip, so don't let the name of the street fool you into thinking that this place is in a luxurious neighborhood. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the sheets and pillows were clean, and the shower had plenty of pressure. The rest of the room looked clean and I was able to get access to Wi-Fi via my portable video player. Also, the staff were very cordial and helpful. This is a place I could tolerate for one night (which is all I needed for this past trip), but I would not stay there if I had to visit for a longer period of time.
