"Much better than expected"
I was very surprised with this hotels customer service, how clean and up to date the rooms were and the location. It's only a $10 taxi ride to the staples center you can't beat that it's way better than driving and trying to find a parking spot trust me we tried. Best you can get for the price and location. Very nice little hotel for a two star rating. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate being free and all. FREE parking is definitely a bonus, since some hotels charge a lot of $$$ per day. Neighborhood is just ok, but the hotel is only a 15-20 minute walk to the convention center and staples center. My second time staying here and the room was very clean and spacious enough for us 3 girls and all the crap we love to bring for the weekend! Great hotel for the money. Location was perfect for LA convention center. Staff very friendly. Room was adequate. Only fault I could find was the strong smell of bug killer in the room, and the carpets were dirty. "Handy hotel, great staff"
Very friendly helpful staff- clean comfy room- obviously refurbished recently. Location was good- close to bus routes to downtown (or 25min walk), hollywood area , or Venice beach. "Close to Staples"
If you were to go to Staples Center, there are 2 places to stay. I opted for the Rodeway Inn because of price and because it was quaint. I enjoyed the area and the room was very clean. The hotel is walking distance from LA Convention center (20min), bus links and metro. The room was big and clean, the beds were comfy, the area was quiet, staff was friendly and had free WIFI.
