"Overnight getaway"
The hotel was overall pretty nice. First impression was the hotel lobby which is simple but nice front desk service was everything I could've asked for. However the room and bathroom could use an update or two and the room windows were filthy. But the stay was quiet and nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but still has a budget feel"
Enjoyed the stay for the most part but the room and furniture felt old. Staff was great, neighborhood fun, etc. but I've stayed in nicer hotels for less (location notwithstanding). Thumbs up but not a resounding "yes!".Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Decent hotel for the price"
The rate was pretty reasonable. The location not so much. Its in Tokyo or china town however you call it. The rooms are clean and service is great. Parking by valet is pricey for unlimited in and out. If you think you will use the unlimited thing its worth it, otherwise i would self park. The gym was under construction and they did not offer any other […] gym options which was disappointing. We did not like the breakfast which was also expensive. The breakfast looked more like a traditional Japanese style. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great stay near Downtown"
Our stay at the Miyako was great, and we would definitely stay there again. The cheerful woman at the front desk (she looked like an older version of Lady Gaga) was completely accommodating in our request for one of the quieter rooms, even offering us the opportunity to pre-screen a few rooms before deciding for sure. That said, there's not much traffic […] in that area of L.A. on weekends, so I think any room would have likely been fine. The room was clean and spacious, with individual climate control. The window was able to be opened. The bed was a little soft for our taste (our only complaint). Parking next door in the Little Tokyo garage was very inexpensive on weekends, and at one exit time it was even free - no attendant was there when we left Sunday morning. The restaurants of the adjacent Little Tokyo shopping center were delicious, and wonderful for a mid-day snack or a full meal. We were in town for a show at the Ahmanson at Music Center, whjch was a short walk away - so no need for parking hassles at the theatre! We also walked to the gorgeous downtown YMCA for an excellent workout (the spa at the hotel was closed for renovations). Note that this particular YMCA charges guests a nominal fee, even if you have an AWAY sticker on your YMCA card. We were also able to get around the freeways easily from that location in L.A. (even though it was Carmageddon weekend), and took day or evening trips to Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Griffith Park, and Pasadena. We used the Burbank Airport instead of LAX, which was VERY convenient. All in all, a great stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect place, cool neighborhood decent eats."
This place is for those who like a little edge to their experience. Hotel is quiet, clean with very nice staff. The neighborhood has a bit of everything. Starbucks, Korean Japanese and American like the nice gyro fry place behind the hotel. North almeda is a pot lovers dream. An entire block of head shop suppliers vaporizers papers and everything else. […] They sell retail also. We are a 50 yr old couple and we found the area interesting and safe night or day. Red line and union station were a 15 min walk or a 5$ taxi excluding tip. This was an excellent choice for us on limited funds. Eating local and red line kept costs down. "Clean and convenient hotel in little tokyo"
Stayed here for 1 night just to see down town LA. It is a 10 minute walk from Union station and nestled next to tokyo village. Quite a vibrant area at night with cheap dining directly next/opposite hotel. It is a little bit of a walk to financial district and walt disney concert hall but mainly due to the uphill incline of 1st st. Front desk was very […] helpful and polite. Headed to Disneyland Anaheim from here. You can simply walk 3 blocks down and catch a direct bus which is a lot cheaper than booking a disney shuttle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Miyako Hotell Los Angeles"
