15 min walk from red line metro "civic center", highly convenient to go visit Universal Studios. Starbucks 2 min away for breakfast. Within Little Tokyo so no problem getting sushis or ramens. Personnel is nice, rooms are ok but the bathroom could be better. Valet parking works fine but i would not recommend the restaurant.

the miyako is an elegant hotel, well situated in downtown, walkeable from railway station and most downtown landmarks. One thing they lack is PBS or news station on the TV, as very few channels. This was a very nice hotel in Little Tokyo that provided a nice experience that is somewhat immersing yourself in a few blocks of Tokyo. It was late and we were tired after a long 2 days at Disneyland. Our room was lovely and quiet, just what we needed. And, ever so conveniently, we were able to just cross the street for a late supper of excellent noodle soup. The next morning, we took the front desk clerk's suggestion, and had a very pleasant walk, checking out interesting modern and […] traditional architecture. Our one night in Japantown was the perfect respite and contrast between Disneyland and our next stop, Venice Beach. Great hotel at half the price of other quality downtown LA hotels. Staff is friendly and effective. Rooms are very clean. Miyako evidently caters to Japanese tour groups, and Japanese tend to be particular about their accommodations, so the occasional American can well benefit from the situation. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is pretty close to Disneyland. We were just 10 minutes away by walk. Lots of Fast food available nearby - McDonalds, Subway, Quiznos. We had breakfast in one of those restaurants and also packed lunch. The hotel room itself was clean. No complaints.

My wife and I chose the Miyako Hotel due to it's location. It is close to Little Toyko, Chinatown, Union Station, downtown and Philippe's, (of course!!) We always take a dozen or so french dip sammie's back to S.F.. The staff at the Miyako are courteous, polite and efficient. The room was comfortable and had very useful ammenities such as a fridge, […] coffee maker, iron and ironing board, flat screen TV, DVD player and an in-room safe. Plenty of closet space also. The bathroom was spacious and had a bidet with a heated seat. We did not have a vehicle so we didn't need parking but it is available for a daily fee. I would definitely stay at the Miyako again. ホテルのレセプションでDown Townの地図を求めたところ残念な事にＡ４の用紙にコピーされた周辺（リトル・東京）とDown Townの地図のみを渡されました。　白黒で文字は小さく年寄りにはとても読みづらい地図でした。　今まで宿泊したホテルで地図を求めたところこの様うな地図を渡されたのはこのホテルが初めてでした。　受け答えにも心が籠った対応は感じられませんでした。　隣の文化堂の主人の方が余程親切心が感じました。

本HPにて12月にデラックス - ダブルサイズベッド 2 台の部屋を予約して宿泊したのですが、実際に案内されたのはスタンダード - ダブルサイズベッド 2 台の部屋でした。 部屋のHP写真を持っていかなかったのでその場で指摘もせず帰国するまで気がつかなかった当方にも不備があるのですが、高価格の料金を取りながら格下の部屋に通すのはひどいかなと。 日本人が多く使うホテルなので信頼していたのですが裏切られた気分です。

Hotel excelente, quarto como novo, banheiro enorme e completo. Gostamos muito. Internet gratuita de velocidade sem fio. Garagem não é barata, mas em nenhum local de LA é. Perto do Walt Disney Concert Hall. Shopping aberto de Little Tokio com excelentes restaurantes japoneses ao lado do hotel.
