Luxe Sunset Blvd Hotel

Upon arrival I was upgraded to the Junior Executive with king sized bed. Balcony overlooks pool with a decent view of the hills. The bathroom was excellent and very spacious. The grounds are very well kept. The restaurant has a nice chic setting with great food and excellent service. Overall the stay exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay […] their again. The hotel is right next to the 405 Freeway, which is great since you have to travel by car to any place in LA anyways. No noise from the freeway. Apparently the hotel is split between two sections, and we stayed up the hill which is apparently better for leisure. The only negative I have is that you can hear other rooms as the sound insulation is weak. A crying baby is not something fun to wake up to at 6am on Sunday morning (this I attribute to bad luck). The other negative is the 25$ a night valet parking required if you have a car (really?!). Look forward to the next trip. Read more

First off: this is a beautiful property, the staff we dealt with were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay if a visit to the Getty Center is part of your trip. The fare at the hotel restaurant was very good and priced quite fairly. Three things keep me from giving a perfect review, one of which may not affect your visit: 1) […] While we were there, overnight construction work very close by was EXTREMELY LOUD in the time between 1 and 3 a.m. when you might like to sleep. When we checked in we were told we were being upgraded to a junior suite, which was a great room, but exposed to the construction noise. I don't know whether the "upgrade" was a desperate attempt to fill that room, or whether the fact that the booking was available on Hotels.com in the first place was because of the construction. I have to say, we would not have stayed here if we had known how intrusive the noise would be (jackhammers--lots and lots of jackhammers). I'm not sure how much the hotel staff knew about how loud the work would be. The front desk was kind enough to waive the room service charge for our breakfast after I complained, gently, about the noise. 2) The hotel is located in two buildings...we were in the spa building, uphill from the main building with the front desk and the restaurant. Getting back and forth is a bit inconvenient, at least we thought that way. 3) While the location is convenient for a lot of attractions--not too far from the beaches, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and of course the Getty--there are no restaurant or shopping options real close by, certainly not within walking distance. Your feeling about that may vary. The quality of the people left me with an overall very positive feeling about the hotel, and if there's no construction work going on that removes our biggest concern. Read more

The hotel was in a great location next to Westwood and Santa Monica. The room was attractive and the bed comfortable. The air conditioning did not work well so the first night was pretty uncomfortable. It worked q bit better the next night. The hotel is veer nice at first glance, but the closer you look the more small flaws you notice - paint peeling […] from bathroom doors, as an example. The Luxe Hotel is a fantastic hotel in a city of great hotels! The location - off the 405 - is perfect. The staff are very nice and could not be more helpful. In addition, the grounds and rooms are beautiful - there are lovely places outside to sit and relax. The pool area is quiet and just big enough. We will definitely return!

My husband and I completely enjoyed our stay at the Luxe Hotel. So close to the 405 (if you dare to travel on it), and just a short drive to the Sunset Strip. The staff was very curteous, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the BelAir area!

Angenehm und einfach schön, sehr sehr nettes Personal, tolles Zimmer, tolle Einrichtung, sauber, sogar zweimal tgl. wurde das Zimmer gesäubert und aufgeräumt. Die Lage ist optimal, besonders, wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, ist man sofort auf der Autobahn (405) und kann nach Norden oder Süden fahren.
