I guess you get what you pay for. The bed and pillows were miserable! The room was huge but there also wasn't much hot water and the heater didn't work well either despite how noisey it was.

Floors are very squeeky and if you are on the first floor it is hard to sleep. I could not hear the television with the volume all the way up. People at the desk were friendly and very nice. I would stay there again if I had to. I stayed during the Hurricane Sandy event and a lot of the utility workers were coming and going so all the squeeking floors […] made it hard to sleep.It is an older hotel and in need of updating. The lobby was full of trash and when I checked in I asked the woman if there was place close by I could grab a sandwich and her response was I don't know. There are two Subways and a Panera in very close for future reference. **THEY TAKE AN IMPRINT OF YOUR CREDIT CARD AT CHECK IN AND IT IS LEFT AT THE FRONT DESK UNATTENDED UNTIL YOU CHECK OUT** The […] woman then checked me into a smoking room and when I walked into the 90 degree ashtray of a room I called to ask her if it was a smoking room and she said no. When I explained the awful smell she said oh yea I guess it is a smoking room and gave me keys to a non-smoking room. I do have to say my new room was clean. The bathroom had granite countertops and was pretty spotless and the carpet looked well vacumed. The bedspread had holes and wasn't in the best condition but the sheets were clean. When I checked out Kumar was much more friendly than the woman who checked me in and noticed I had switched rooms and asked how I liked the new room which I thought was very nice. I would not stay here again, but if this is your only option I would say go with extremely low expectations. Read more

The place made me nervous. Staff was non-existent....never a person at the desk. The hallway had an awful odor that I can't even describe, but the room itself was clean (and no bad smell). Glad we were only staying one night. Would NOT stay there again.

We has reserved a room with two queen beds and a refrig. We checked in to the room and two queen beds but no refrig. They did change the room but this time we gor the refrig but full size beds. The wall paper in one of the corners was taped and the bedspread was so thin or ripped that you could see the filling. You could also hear the people walking […] around on the top floor. the room had a really odd odor. we opened both windows, though one did not have a screen.at first we thought it was different cleaning suppliles, but the more i thought about it, i think they had treated the room for bugs and we were smelling residual pesticide. other than that, the room was okay. we did not see any bugs.

Upon checking in I was informed that my reservation stated smoking room and there was nothing they could do to change it because the hotel was booked. The lobby and stairwell looked like they had not been vaccuumed in days. When we got upstairs to our floor there was a terrible smell, due to someone leaving wet laundry piled up on a table in the laundry […] area. The blanket on the bed was old, full of pulls and looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. When we were leaving to check out the stairway had cereal spilled all over it. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone. The only reason we booked here was because there were no other available hotels in the area. I am glad that I did not spend a lot of money on the room as it was not worth it. Read more
