"This place was a joke."
The address they advertise is incorrect. When you GPS it you end up in front of an empty field. This may not be a bad point. The empty field may have been more pleasant than the hotel. When we finally arrived and went to check in, it was somewhat comical. It was as if the clerk had her argument with me rehearsed before we got there. The thing is, I […] didn't argue back so she was having this one sided argument with herself. We proceed to our room, past the closed pool that had about a foot of sludge in the bottom of it, to find that the room keys didn't work. We go back and tell the clerk who proceeds to tell us that we are not pulling the key cards out fast enough. We go back an experiment to find out the complete opposite. You had to pull them out extremely slowly to get them to work. Heading to bed we realized there were no blankets on the beds. Just sheets and a bedspread. "Very Unprofessional Staff"
I checked in to the hotel after attempting to find it for a half an hour, after calling the hotel's hotline, the customer service person said they couldn't "transfer" me to the local hotel for directions. I finally had to call 411 to get a direct number while traveling to find them. After attempting to "check in" the front desk associate acted like […] she didn't recognize nor care about the online bookings, failed to offer the "club" and didn't mention any "late checkout" features. So i failed to signup for rewards. No coffee pots in the room, we had for 2 people 1 packet of shampoo, and the bathroom had rust marks on the tub, and brown stains on the bottom of the toilet. After finally settling in the room the fridge didn't have any shelves therefore all our food we had we had to shove it in the corner of a huge fridge and the boxes were easily knocked over spilling food everywhere. The ice machine was located behind a vacant building with just the machine itself , however, there was a good soda machine ..if you could read the handwritten descriptions of your soda. We attempted to buy candy bars for snacks and the machine in the lobby got "stuck" having the once again unprofessional staff roll their eyes and open the machine for us to have candy. The King size bed was nice, however 3 pillows for 2 people , come on. We asked for more pillows and got nearly chewed out about how we could only have "5" , when we did inquire about checking out late.. we were advised towards the end of our stay it would be an extra cost for a few hours. Disappointment. While sleeping we noticed roaches crawling on the tv, behind the sink, and in the corners. The WIFI was slow as a turtle. Upon checkout we brought our card to the front desk and attempted to leave when the manager/front desk attendant rolled her eyes and didn't even say goodbye. The room was nice the bed was comfortable, the towels were clean. I would stay there again and tell others about it. The only problem me had was finding the place, we put the address in our GPS and it sent up to a vacant lot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
