As far as the Hotel of concerned the rooms were very nice. The only complaint that I had was getting in the room in a timely manner. We were told that the rooms would be ready after noon, then to be told after 2:00 and to come back to the hotel to find out that they would not be ready until 4:00. "The Hampton Inn at Birch Run, MI"
The hotel desk clerk was wonderful. Very nice and professional. We entered our room and immediately turned on the air conditioner. It hardly blew any air at all. By 11pm, we had to change rooms. The new room's AC unit hardly blew any air. The hotel desk clerk helped us move all of our things, and tried to do what she could to get the AC unit to work. […] She gave us two bottles of water, warm unfortunately, and two bags of snacks at no charge. I asked her if they had to fan to help cool the room. She finally found a fan for me. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel and the breakfast buffet was good and had variety. My room didn't have a microwave or fridge which I thought it did have but Kelly the manager let me use the microwave in the breakfast area to make our popcorn. The rooms were not close to a Hampton in Ottawa, Ontario Canada...the beds were not so comfortable, the bathroom area around tub was old and silicone old, tiles were loose. Would have been nice if the sink was in the main area outside of bathroom, more convenient.
