"It's a Ramada, don't expect much"
All I originally booked for the week but had to leave after one day because it was so loud. Every hour I could hear the people above me stomp across the floor to use the bathroom. "It smells"
The hotel rooms smell. My room was downstairs and the smell was not that bad there. However, when the people above me started making a lot of noise during the night, I asked to be moved to another room. The room I was moved into was upstairs and it had a pretty bad and strong smell. "Frustrated"
The internet did not work in the hotel room. I had reserved a king size bed but was given a full or queen instead. The sleep number feature was not working properly and was stuck on the same number all night long, even after repeated attempts to change it. The hotel did not have any King beds available the first night. After several attempts to prod the staff, I was able to get a King bed the second night. The rooms on the first floor are in need of remodeling. There is nothing special about this hotel, but a decent place to stay for a night or two for the money. "Built cheap and noisy, beds not for everyone"
First night stay...Friday. Woke up to super loud footsteps from floor above at 4am! Like the floors are made of hardwood with thick carpet over them. They sounded like they were running back and forth and at sone point wrestling? Then, showers ensue...LOUDEST pipes ever. Day 2...Saturday. Desk took care in getting us a 2nd floor room...but only double […] beds avail. There goes special night with the wife. Tried the pool. Wore goggles, yikes there was more stuff floating than u could imagine. Double sleep number beds were extremely unconfortable and we will not be purchasing one anytime soon. Oh yeah, breakfast was bad enough that we decided to go to Panera when we checked out on sun. Overall, this hotel rates pretty low for us. We liked the hotel and the people working there. However, as soon as we arrived to the room, it had a terrible odor. I think the room previously used as a smoking room and the hotel has not been able to get the cigarette smell out of the room. They need to recarpet the room. "Good Value"
The hotel was nice. Service was good. The decor is dated and needs renovation, but very clean. I have two issues. The bed was miserable. The pillows were like rocks and the sleep number EXPERIENCE was terrible. To go along with that the walls are paper thin. "Radisson Hotel in Madison"
Our recent stay at the hotel was just OK... the front desk clerk was so friendly and helpful! There were a few items that we did not like about the hotel. The sleep number beds were awful!!! We had 8 people in our party and not one person had a good thing to say about them. I would most likely NOT stay at a hotel with the same kind of beds again. Also, […] the pool had way to much chemicals in it... you could taste it in your mouth the moment you walked into the pool area. 2 out of our 3 kids got rashes from how much chemicals were in the pool. This is something that they should really get under control. Over all I would say that I would prob not stay at this location again unless these items being the bed comfort and the pool which is mainly what people look for to be great features when they look for a hotel to stay at.
