I enjoyed my stay here. Hotel staff was very friendly. The Valet attendant, BJ (name?) was awesome. At one point, he tracked me down on the roof deck at 10PM at night to let me know my lights were on and offered to turn them off. Now that's service. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Double Tree Hotel needs to improve on their data receipts with 3rd Party systems. VIP Reservations was not received in complete and accurate manner and their Check-In experience was not satisfactory. This hotel is right across from the beach,. Nice access and good views. The pool was nice and heated. At the time I stayed the hot tub was under construction as were a few other parts of the hotel. I am sure it will be done by summer.

Overall, the hotel experience was good. Friendly people ready to serve and to be helpful. The only negative is that I resented having to pay $22/day for parking.

I cannot say enough about the high quality service at this hotel. The front desk personnel are highly professional and will do anything for you. The purpose of our stay was house hunting based on a job relocation. Many times during the week, we had to fax documents to the realtor, etc. The guys at the desk were excellent and dropped everything to assist […] us. We had one issue with the high def channels on the TV and within minutes, a maintenance person responded and fixed the problem. Some renovation was occuring at the hotel but this was completely transparent to the guests. No noise, etc. Two improvement opportunities: Increase the speed of your lobby PCs and we experienced poor service (very slow to get food) on the roof-top bar/restaurant. Read more
