"dont let the pics fool you...."
They must have been taken when the place was new. When they they say micro, I didn't expect that small. It reminded me of some of the crammed lil cubbie wholes in Europe. "The pictures are deceiving to say the least."
Tiny little room, hard old beds, breakfast was icky and stale, When we tried to open the window, it fell out. When we pulled back the covers, the sheets were dirty. Someone had drawn all over the walls and elevator and it had not been covered up. The air conditioner rattled very loudly, but they kept it so hot in there you had no choice but to use it […] at night. The pictures were deceiving to say the least. "Beware ot the Road Noise"
I stay at hotels about 180 nights a year and I've stayed at many hotels. This hotel is nice enough (clean, standard amentities) for an inexpensive stay, except for two issues. One in particular is responsible for the low rating. The road noise was very LOUD, making sleep difficult. I've been at many hotels next to busier roads, but never experienced […] this level of noise. "One of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed at"
All I ask for in a hotel room is cleanliness and this was a resounding failure. Turned the sheets down and found the sheets had clearly not been wash since the last guest. Several stains and lots of hairs all over the bottom sheet. Pillow cases looked dirty and unwashed. The rest of the room looked questionably clean as well. "If you want poor service then welcome!"
I got there tired and ready to get some rest and found the host watching television. Took a few minutes to peel her from the screen. When I finally got service she couldnt find my reservation in her computer, further delaying my rest. Her attitude was bad, like she was unconcerned. Eventually I had to have a hotels.com rep call and confirm my reservation. […] By then I was just ready to go. "They need new mgmt"
I submitted a compliant to corporate. I left the room for breakfast offsite. When I returned the sheets had been taken off the bed and the comforter thrown on my personal items. "Not worth it"
I stayed at Microtel hotels before and this one was just bad. The carpet, the beds, the bathroom, the everything. I am a smoker, I understand smoking leaves a linger in the room, but this was extremely strong and pungent smell that felt like that room was never cleaned.
