ResortQuest Rentals at Summerwind Resort

We arrived late. I did not realize we were to check into ReSort Quest, not the Hotel. After calling the number, we were instructed to go the the ResortQuest office across the street, use a code, get packet that had the code to the room. Back to room. It is now really late. We had driven a long way and had Thanksgiving with family in Milton, FL. The […] note attached to the room code said there were unpaid items to be taken care of, although the computer generated confirmation sheet said paid in full. The next day, we decided to check on another place for another time, went to Resort Quest, only to find that we had to pay an $83 cleaning fee and that they were going to change to access code to our room if we had not stopped by and paid. The resort was very clean and family friendly. The beach was beautiful and my family enjoyed walking on the pier. We were located on the end of the strip, near fishing, resturants, and water sport rentals. My only advise is to double check the description of the rooms prior to leaving. Our 3- bedroom condo was suppose to have a room with 2 Dbl beds. […] It had 2 twin beds instead! Also, it was suppose to have a sleeper sofa, which it didn't. We loved hotel, 3 pools, beach, balcony, view of the ocean, but rental unit not so much! I am 6'4" and living room had only a small slipper chair which belonged in ladie's bedroom and too small for me to sit in. Only other seating was uncomfortable futon which was not a sofa and also not conducive to my size. Dining room chairs are not living room furniture. […] The TV in bedroom was so small you could barely see it. Dryer was broke and after spending an hour waiting for clothes to dry on last nite, had to call hotel service who luckily provided us use of another empty unit's dryer 2 floors up. Upon entering this unit, wished we would have requested to stay here. It was furnished properly with a sofa which made into bed, 2 normal sized comfortable chairs. Decorating felt very resort like. Other than our rental unit, loved hotel and would go back again. Our advice...hotel should have basic rules which would insure all rental units meet same requirements. Also, upon expressing my dissatisfaction nothing offered to make up for our inconveniences. When customer pays as much as ocean views cost in addition to a separate cleaning fee for 3 nights on the ocean, customer should walk away with nothing but satisfied comments. Customer service means the customer walks away feeling satisfied when the product was less than satisfactory. Read more

This was amazing. the only complaint we had... and it is a big one... the bed was extremly uncomfortable to sleep on. we were there a week so this was a major issue. The ONLY issue we had!! all else was wonderful!! we will return!!

This condo is in an awesome location, the price is awesome, the pools and hot tub are great, the beach is amazing, and the area is perfect. Teh only thing you need to be careful about is that Hotels.com does not tell you that if you are arriving after 5 pm local time, you need to call Resortquest the day before and let them know so that they can put […] all of your stuff in a box at the desk. That turned out to be a real pain on arrival day at 5:45 pm. Also, there is a cleaning fee added to the stay upon arrival, for us it was 89 USD for 4 nights. Other than that, it was perfect. Just a the sign reads a you enter the bay, this place is truly "Florida's best kept secret". And so is the cleaning fee they conveniently hit you with when you show up to check in. We had people from thirteen to sixty-four and all enjoyed the condo. The beach is fantastic and very easy to get to, weather was great, and the condo was very convenient to use.
