Location. The Baymont Inn & Suites is less than a mile from the Galveston Island Convention Center. Within three miles of the hotel are Moody Gardens, the Strand, and the cruise ship terminal. The beach is also close at hand.

"If only the tub was clean"

"Good hotel, has some issues"
This was a conveniently located and well priced hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were a good size. Maid service leaves something to be desired, and the TV reception is poor. The staff was very friendly and helpful and price was quite reasonable. It is just one block easy walk to sea wall and saves you on the price of paying to stay right on it. Continental breakfast was well stocked the entire time. Hotel was clean. Only complaint is that balconies don't really have a view from most of them so wasn't exactly worth paying […] for that par, but was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy weather late at night. "Still good place and afordable"

"Near Convention Center"
The hotel was nice. The only issue I had was that upon check=in, one of the staffers had an attitude because we booked through an outside service instead of directly with the hotel. Overall stay was great. Continental breakfast left much to be desired. I got recycled shampoo in my bathroom: I suppose they did not want to be wasteful.
