"vacation"

Where to begin, the employees are so rude! Especially , the man that's works in the evening . Our door to our room didn't even shut properly. We had to slam it shut & you could still see light through the crack! The room smelled bad like it wasent ever cleaned. No hot water in the shower! Floors were hard wood which were dirty also . Kept hearing some […] sort of plumbing noise from pipes all night . 2nd day stay, the maids didn't even come in and give us new towels , I had to go to the office and get new ones & toliet paper ! If I hadn't already paid for this room for 2 nights, we would have left . I would have much rather slept on the beach. No comforter on the bed or quilt. Just sheets!! This hotel was not at all as described on their website. It states it was renovated in 2008, well apparently in 2013 they are still working on it. There was black mold in the bathroom. Decent considering the price. I'm sure it's hard to keep any building in this area from smelling moldy. It's kind of an odd grape juice smell. The beds in the room were pretty comfy (2 king room). The room could have been a little cleaner - the floors are laminate so they have to be swept (and weren't swept very well). The wifi worked really well and […] was fast except for when it was stormy (signal in and out all day). The water pressure was fantastic - one of the best hotel showers ever! "Nice place and location for the price"
I enjoyed our stay very much, the rooms were very well kept. The only problem I had was the last two nights we stayed, this couple checked in, and they were up at their room selling drugs, the girl was fussing at some guys that came up to their room to buy something, she was really loud fussing at them. The reason I know they was selling drugs is because […] she told them y'all called me for some stuff, they continued to have traffic in and out of their room, I know this because I smoke cigarettes, and I would go out on the balcony to smoke. Had room 322 it was huge, much larger than your typical motel room. Front desk was slow and not especially friendly but we didn't have any bad experiences with the service. Good location but be careful where you park, a guy in a room a few doors down from us parked in the rear parking lot and had his truck vandalized. The room had a very strong mildew smell. There was no iron or coffee pot. This motel had the rudest employes of anywhere I have ever stayed. The man in the room next to me truck window was smashed and his truck robbed, he could not get the night manager up for the police . I would NOT recomend this place to any familys, maybe drug dealers or hookers, and even they probley would not like the way they where treated by the rudest […] motel staff I have ever seen. On the way there I had trouble finding it, and called for directions, the same man that would not get up for the police, hung up on me 4 times says sorry to busy to help the first 2 times, 3rd and 4th just said busy and hung up on me. Since there is no carpet in the rooms, the noise from the room next door and the room above was almost unbearable. Sewer backed up in the bathtub during my husband's shower. This has got to be the worst motel that I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty on check in. There was something like ashes all over the beds in a non smoking room. The floor I was on had no coke machine and the other two floors had machines with different prices. One coke machine dispensed cokes as hot as coffee.
