"Beware the new wing!"
We have stayed at the Tremont before and really enjoyed ourselves. This time, they put us in a recently opened addition. The person who checked us in was unpleasantly snooty. The electronics were a mess: You turrned on the light, the fan turned off You turned on the fan, the AC turned off. The thermostat for the AC would not budge, and it was warm, […] way too warm. Water dribbled from the shower head, but there was a steady stream from the tub faucet at the same time. There was one small trash can for the entire room , and one small chair. The TV remote didn't work (ordered a movie and paused it..when it restarted, the movie had advanced and could not be rewound). The phone didn't work. The other staff were very nice, but nobody seemed able to resolve our problems and no mention was made of any compensation. We did manage to get the movie cost removed from the bill, but it still left a bitter taste in our mouths. "truck got crashed on drivers side during the night"

"Not 4 star"
Clerks not too professional. Checked out at desk, did not receive a receipt. "Really there wasn't internet"
The hotel was beautiful, but to say they have wi-fi is stretching the truth. It took forever to get hot water in the shower, and the toilet kept running. "Cold enough to hang meat"
The property has just gone through a remodel. Our first room was 68 degrees when we checked in and were unable to reduce the cooling. A technician worked on the unit and it properly worked for about an hour. We froze. The next morning the staff was able to put us in another room that worked properly until the last night, and the heater wouldn't shut […] off. "We are unhappy with the valet parking. Not impressed with automobile security!"
When the car was returned, DAMAGE had been done to the right tail light. Valet attendants denied any responsibility, and Towne Park insurance claim there is no proof that that there was any negligence on the part of the Town Park employee. The car was in their possesion the entire time. Because of this, we will likely not stay at The Tremont House […] in the future. There are other hotels where they take care of customers vehicle.
