We stay here whenever we visit family in the area because the price is reasonable and we don't have to book two rooms when we need a suite. The staff at the Sonesta could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They were awesome! Every request was met with a smile and a can-do attitude. The room was perfect for our needs, as we were traveling with our large German Shepherd dog. The room was located directly near the exit stair well to make it easy for walking. "Good Hotel housekeeping can be better"
Overall it is a good place for a longer stay. Housekeeping could do a better job. We stayed for a week, they only came to change towels and took away the trash. They did not bother to vacuum the floor, and did not leave any detergent for the dish washer. "Very comfortable and worth another try"
The hotel room was extremely comfortable for four of us. It also appeared to be very clean but there was a terrible odor that hit us as soon as we walked in the door. "Still good but could use updating"
We've stayed here before and found it convenient to the Andover area. Rooms are ready for updating especially older TV's. Can be noisy on weekends with large groups (youth) staying up fairly late. "College Camp Visits Stay Saved by Agent"
I had booked by stay in the Staybridge Suites a week in advance and had expressly asked for a King Size non-smoking room for my son and I while we visited Holy Cross and Harvard through Hotels.Com. When I went to check in, Staybridge Suites initially had no record of the reservation that I had paid in advance. Moreover, when they did discover the reservation […] it was for a smoking room with twin beds, totally unacceptable. However, after speaking with the Hotels.com agent who handled the call that night. resolved the matter to beyond my satisfaction. He found a Hotel that met and even exceeded my initial booking arrangements that was only 10 minutes away. "Comfy, Convenient, Dirty"
The two bedroom, two bath layout was extremely comfortable. My boyfriend and I had privacy, as did his mother. We were in town for a wedding, and getting ready with separate bathrooms was effortless. We only stayed two nights, but could have easily stayed a week for the convenience of the room. The propery was quite nice and well maintained outside, […] but the interior could have been cleaner. My room was very spacious, with plenty of room to move about if you were in a wheelchair or had other mobility issues. Sliding pocket door off the bedroom into the bath was convenient. "Very pleasant surprise"
Very nice, in an office park so on the weekend very quiet. If you weren't familiar with the area you'd have trouble finding it on a dark rainy night, as it is in a wooded area. Room was very pleasant and clean. We had a studio unit; no dining table but we ate at the coffee table and that was fine. Bathroom a little small. Some noise from long term guests […] who seem to not realize they are not the only ones there (loud tv, etc). Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, bacon etc. Nice "great room" to eat in. There's a Chili's within walking distance, and a large Italian restaurant, but we know the area so were able to avoid Chili's and eat at better places. Would certainly stay there again. The hotel has a family atmosphere to it. It's the first place I've felt OK walking down to the lobby in my slippers. The room was good but a bit cramped. The small kitchen was useful. We had the two bedroom suite. It was very roomy and had a bath for each bedroom. It had a very small kitchen area. They had a managers lite dinner, and it was indeed lite. The lasagna was pretty good, and they had salad, but no bread or anything else. But, it was nice to have the free dinner. The breakfast was good.
