"not bad, could improve"
The hotel was fine, more suited to business than family. I booked it because it had a pool for the kids. Nowhere did it say that it didn't open till 3:00pm, ( 5:00 in the winter). (The pool area was none too clean and the lifeguard was very preoccupied). Also, in the workout room, two of the machines didn't work. Finally, "free internet" in the lobby […] amounted to 10 MINUTES.. Really? That's their idea of free? That being said, the food was good and the beds were very comfortable. WE,my husband and I and also my daughter and her husband and our grand-daughter truly were surprised when we opened the door and saw that we had adjourning bedtooms. Our grand-daughter went nuts. Our location from WashingtonDC was perfect never ran into any large traffic jams or anything. My gand-daughter and her father swam in the pool(did wish it […] was larger) and enjoyed themselves.There was a wedding on Saturdy so all Friday nite and Saturday nite we heard yelling and slamming of doors but bcause we knew it was due to a joyous occassion we just let it slide and just continued on our vacation. The overall condition and location of hotel was good. "DC trip"

"Close to shopping and Metro"

"Nice, but not upto the mark....."

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and had an interesting layout. The beds were facing each other on opposite sides of the room with a flat screen in the middle on a table and the TV swivels either way. The kids enjoyed the free lemonade in the lobby. "very clean room!"
We stayed 2 nights . Front desk was very friendly . room was very clean and bathroom too. i loved the shower . The bad: tricky to find - their sign only faces one way, so it's easy to drive by if you're coming from the other way. Also, no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Staff was great - excellent check in process, and very helpful staff in the bar/market area. Great beds, nice sized room. Everything was great, except they were doing a remodel in the lobby. The room was great, nice bedding and a flat screen. The only issue that I have is that they charged for wifi, even if you use the computers in the business center. "Pleasantly surprised!"
We stayed for 6 nights at Hyatt Fair Lakes. We found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant to work with. The room was spacious and we were given free breakfast coupons to eat in the Hotel's restaurant. The buffet was very good, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, cheese, juices, cereal, pastries, pancakes, etc. All very good. We mostly appreciated the dedicated […] spirit the gals in the restaurant had for serving us. The were very pleasant and wanted to give us food to take with us whenever they had the chance. The hotel is located in suburban Washington D.C., area with all kinds of restaurants and shopping very close by. The hotel is about 2 minutes away from Interstate 66 for those wanting to drive downtown it is about a 30 minute drive depending on traffic. There is a van provided by the hotel to go to the Vienna Metro station should you want to take the Metro to downtown. The hotel provides on Wednesday nights during the summer, a patio party and serves grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, all free to hotel guests. The weight room facility was very nice. There were a couple negative things about our stay. They do not have any children's networks on the TV, the swimming pool was a bit on the cold side and our room sink drain made a noise after running water down it. They offer 2 double beds in the rooms or king size bed, no queens. Overall we were more than satisfied with this hotel, even surprised that it was such a nice place for the price we paid. Good value.
