The Inn at Haystack Rock is the sister property to the Blue Gull Inn. The Inn shares the Hacienda theme of handcrafted furnishings and original works of art throughout each of our comfortable, well-appointed cottages. Soak in one of Jacuzzi tubs or relax on your own private patio to the soothing sound of water trickling down our Spanish style fountain. Just one block from the beach and three blocks from downtown shops and restaurants.

Haystack Rock & Tidal Pools
The Haystack Rock national reserve, is perhaps Cannon Beach's most famous attraction. Just south of downtown, this mammoth basalt formation towers 235 feet above the shore. When the tide rescinds, it exposes a wonderland of tidal pools and sea-life. Tide tables are available in our offices for pick-up.
Surfing:
Cannon Beach provides a variety of high quality surfing destinations. It is recommended that beginners try Indian Beach, located beyond Ecola State Park about 1 mile. More advanced surfers can try The Needles next to Haystack Rock. Local outfitters Cannon Beach Surf and Cleanline Surf provide lessons, surf board and package rentals, and tips.

State Parks:
Ecola State Park
Access is on the north end of Cannon Beach. A windy, two lane road cuts through Sitka and Hemlock for roughly 2 miles, before opening up at the top. This park boasts some of the most breathtaking views on the Oregon Coast.
Local Hikes:
Ecola Park and Indian Beach Trail
A nice two mile hike from the parking lot of Ecola State Park provides open views of the ocean, off-shore rocks, a myriad of birds and occasional sea lions. Allow up to an hour each way. Ecola State Park is equipped with barbecue and restroom facilities. Indian Beach is the start of the Tillamook Head Trail.

"Awesome cottage getaway"

We went to Cannon Beach for the first time for our 5 year anniversary. It was such a cute place! I loved it! It was quiet until a larger party got there, but I don't blame the Inn. EASY walk to downtown and the beach! Great place to go!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We found our stay to be most enjoyable. The nice court yard landscape and quaint touches added to the homey feeling. The rooms were clean and provided a number of thoughtful conveniences. We particularly like the unique artisan furniture. Closeness to the town and beach were extra benefits and allowed us to easily walk to and from our room for spontaneous […] needs. "romantikk på Cannon beach"
vi var så heldige å få en egen hytte på området som jeg kan varmt anbefale! Privat terasse og innholdsrikt kjøkken. Vi hadde peis som virkelig gjorde susen på romantikken!
