"Not too pleasant"
The number one issue was the parking!!!! In the listing it says it has parking AND valet parking but when you get there they only have valet parking.... Excellent services - dinner Mon - Thu. Breakfast everyday. Nice comfortable suites. Free shuttle which runs to hospitals all day and evening. Be sure to meet Darnell the van driver! Nice indoor pool. We were there to tour The Restaurant School at Walnut College, just a few doors down from the hotel. The location was perfect for our needs. It is a nice area. The hotel staff we dealt with was very nice and well informed of the area, answering this concerned 'college parent to be's' questions. We stayed in a suite and the kitchenette was stocked with […] pots/pans/utensils/plates, etc... The rooms were comfortable and each had a flat screen tv. The bath was larger and well stocked. Elevators do not go above the lobby (3rd floor) unless you scan your room key. Nice security feature. The only draw back to this hotel is the lack of parking. Valet service is offered, but at a daily fee. (I found other hotels in the area do the same.) We did find street parking and was sure that nothing was visible in the car. This particular area has tons of security from the Restaurant School & Univ. of Penn. walking the beat as well as on bicycles because of all of the college students. "Great hotel"
Wonderful. Stayed for the Eagles vs. Dallas game. Room was very clean and very comfortable. We found free parking across the street from the hotel so didn't have to spend $39 for parking.
