"Nice place close to historic sites"
This is a quaint place close to historic sites. If you are looking for an alternative to the mega hotels this place is for you. It's very much like a B&B. Very close to Philadelphia downtown tourist and business locations, especially those closest tro Olde City and Center City. There was a one-time maintenance problem when I was there - failure of the hot water system at shower time in the morning. Not to worry. "A must stay if visiting Philadelphia"
We were visiting customers in the Philadelphia area and having never been into the city before took the opportunity. We could not believe our eyes when we turned up outside The Morris Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and just as good inside! This hotel is a gem and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the night we were […] there (Sunday) the restaurant was closed, so something to remember next time as the reviews were very good. "Morris House Hotel"
Morris House is an interesting building, over 200 years old. There is a pretty garden patio in an enclosed coutyard. Personnel were very helpful. The "superior" room in which I stayed was attractive but quite small. There was no functional desk space and the bathroom was tiny. このホテルの職員の接遇は良く、宿泊した部屋は広く清潔でじゅうたんの汚れもなく、ベットはふかふかで気持ちよかった。隣接するMというレストランは、料理がおいしくて二日間連続して通いました。このレストランは一人６千円程度でフルコースを頂けて良かった。欠点は、古い木造の建物でシャワーの湯の出が悪かった。また、３階の宿泊した部屋は、地下鉄が通るたびに、振動した。しかしながら、これらの欠点は二日目には気にならなくなりました。Genuine Expedia guest review
