The hotel is very small and poorly located right next to the men's homeless shelter. The staff would have friends coming in and out at all times of the night to talk to so it was very loud. The police had to be called because of a noise disturbance in the room across the hall but did nothing about it. The beds felt more like you were sleeping on a box […] spring rather than a mattress. There was blood stains on a pillow and cigarette burns on the blankets. Overall this place was just plain bad. I checked out at 7am just so I could get some sleep. For starters there is no where to park when checking in the luggage its no street parking at all ,(until late night) and upon check -in hotel doors are unlock some stranger comes in and making weird noises while trying to check. The location of this hotel was ideal; however, the hotel itself was quite disappointing! It was noisy inside and out. There were people arguing in the hallway. It was UNBELIEVABLELY bad. They have rooms IN THE LOBBY so you can hear every single person come in to check in or check out, make a complaint or come home drunk late. I've NEVER in my life been in a hotel or motel where they would place guests in a room that was right in the lobby and literately right next to the check in station. I couldn't believe […] they expected me to sleep there and that people did that. I would rather have stayed in their dusty basement. Never ever again! The management is so unhelpful and not willing to talk to you. Its more like a motel but not that cheap so throw in the extra few dollars and go ANYWHERE else. "Where not to stay in Philly"
Hotel rate was more expensive than a much better hotel next door. I stayed one night only and it was the worse hotel experience I have ever had. We were not able to sleep at all because of the noise of being directly across from the front desk as well as the incredibly thin walls where I endured an incredibibly long night of the person in the next room […] snoring, loud tv watching and every other noise you can imagine.
