    Overall, we enjoyed our stay. In terms of cleanliness and friendliness of staff, the hotel far exceeded expectations. In fact, they even let us check... in early because they knew we were going to go look at the sites. The surrounding neighborhood is fine. The amenities were great as well, as we had a nice cozy kitchen. Some caution though, this hotel is not as close to the historic district as you may be led to believe. It was a good 40 minute walk to get there. That is fine as long as you are walking around in the daytime, but in the evening, I definitely would not want to be walking that distance. by RLT  from Fredericksburg on 05/06/13

    Overview

    Location.
    The cylindrical tower of the Windsor Suites overlooks a bustling street corner in downtown Philadelphia, Pa. The hotel is central to Philadelphia's downtown attractions and business centers, within six blocks of City Hall, the Convention Center and Liberty Place. The world famous Barnes Foundation Museum is just 3 blocks away, Philadelphia International Airport is eight miles away, and the hotel is less than one mile from the 30th Street Railway Station.

    Hotel Features.
    The Windsor Suites offers apartment-style accommodations and is also home to private residences. The hotel provides a range of services and amenities, including a 24-hour fitness facility, a seasonal rooftop pool and a sundeck. Discounts are also offered to a local health club, seven blocks from the hotel. The property includes 3 conference rooms, encompassing 1,897 square feet of meeting space. The hotel also offers event catering and business services. The Guest Amenities Center provides snack and beverage vending, ATM, and complimentary computer and internet access. Laundry facilities are on site. Open for lunch and dinner, the on-site hotel restaurant Asia on the Parkway offers authentic Asian cuisine. Con Murphy's Irish pub serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Room service is available.

    Overall I was very satisfied with the stay. My only real issue is that the tub did not drain when taking a shower, I called to ask for it to be fixed and it was not taken care of. That is why I gave a low grade for Comfort.

    Usually stay at a Marriott property when we go to Philly. This hotel is less expensive (including the parking rates) with larger rooms and full kitchens. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great center city location. Will stay here again and would definitely recommend.

    Hotel experience was pretty good. The only thing I didnt like is everytime my guests came my room phone would ring to ask if they can beet up? I wasnt aware this hotel was one you need a key to get upstairs.....I got past it but....

    great location, was an apt building, may still have tenants so rooms are mini apartments -- something like this would go for at leat $4K per month in nyc! full kitchen and closets if you want to stay awhile wish they had more kingsize beds available and extra blankets. outrageous they should have to charge $30 a day for a guest to park

    Comfortable room, central location, parking is $29 a night. A restaurant and a bar attached though I tried neither. Walking distance to Walnut st and restaurants there.

    Very good place to stay when you visit Philadelphia. The kitchen permit to do your own food. The room we got had some issue with the heating system so we need to open the windows to have a good temperature. But everything else was fine.

    The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the city. We enjoyed walking to shopping, dining and the theater district. The rooms were spacious, and we enjoyed the full kitchen.

    I stayed here for a conference at the conference center (just a couple blocks away). Hotel was nice, it is also a live-in facility so there are long-term residents as well. Room was clean, staff was nice, and it was nice to have a kitchenette in the room. My only complaint was the painfully, and I mean painfully slow wifi (I stayed on the 14th floor […] and it may be different on different floors). For someone who uses the internet for work, I would probably stay somewhere else just for this reason. If they had better internet, then I would stay here again. Read more

    I really liked this hotel. It is well located and very comfortable. The matress was excellent, but the pillows could be better. My only compliant is that the Housekeeping staff did not do a very good job. There is a kitchen in the room and glassess were not washed, towels were not replaced and when I asked for extra from the Head Housekeeper none were […] put into the room. If you asked the housekeeper doing the room she would leave more. I think the problem is supervision. The hotel also has a very good Chinese Restaurant just off the Lobby. That is a nice benefit.     Much calmer than the Embassy Suites and more friendly than the Sheraton and nearby Embassy Suites. Very Cozy although the windows rattled from the wind all night. Overall pleasant!!!

    We enjoyed our stay at the Windsor. The suites were perfect for us... Very roomy and comfortable. The location was awesome.. Convenient to everything. I used the fitness center, which was bigger than expected. The service was the best though.. Very hospitable, quick, reliable, and super friendly.
