"It was an unpleasant stay for me and my family"
When we arrived our room smelled as if someone smoked in it. We did not know how to turn on the shower and the staff also did not know. They had to call maintenance to show us and we were delayed getting to our event. "Short vacation stay in Philly"
This hotel is close to the airport, but you're not bothered by airport noise. The toilets are AMAZINGLY quiet when you flush!! The whole hotel seems to be pretty well sound-proofed. Hotel staff was very friendly. Room air conditioner unit was very quiet, too. Hotel is close to I-95, so getting to the interstate wasn't a problem. Downsides: no phone […] book in the room - I usually use the maps in the phone book to orient myself, and figure out where things are. The front desk lent us their copy; however, it was a copy of the yellow pages, and wasn't very helpful to us. The writing notepad in the room had like 2 sheets of paper left on it; I asked the front desk for some more, which they supplied, but each tablet only had about 10 sheets of paper on it. I would have liked to have used the pool (open till midnight!), but didn't get a chance to go swimming. The beds (both queen size) were a little on the hard side. "Excellent Service"
This is pretty much your typical airport hotel except for one thing, the staff. We stayed here for one night at the end of an eight day visit to the area because it was convenient to the airport and had a 24 hr. shuttle. What stands out about this hotel were the friendly and helpful people who were duty that night. The woman who checked us in actually […] called us about an hour after we had been there to see if the room was okay and if we needed anything. Another employee I encountered in the hallway gave some good advice about dining options and the woman at check out, at 5 a.m., was also delightful.
