"Don"t believe the pictures"
Our stay was fine, but if one were to judge by the pictures on the Hotels.com website, they too would have been very surprised by the room -- at least our room. If the main room was larger than 10 x 10 I would be surprised. Bath was poorly lit although it had a great lit magnifying mirror. If we had worn the bathrobes provided we would not have both […] fit in the bathroom at the same time. This is a nice botique hotel at a reasonable price in a great location for tourists to old town. Staff very good. Breakfast very good. Noisy outside, but windows do good job of atenuating. This was our second visit to Philadelphia and our second stay at Penn's View. I would not even consider staying anywhere else. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and just perfect for your stay in the Old City. Also, the complimentary breakfast is outstanding. It may be the bet I have experienced in a hotel.
