"Very convenient!"
Perfect location in the heart of Philadelphia's Old City! We walked to just about everything we wanted to see. Quaint hotel --not terribly roomy, but clean, quiet and comfortable. Would visit again--Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to sights"
We had a very pleasant stay at the Penn View. It was very convenient to the sights and good public transportation around the city. There are many good restaurants nearby and a very fine gourmet restaurant in the hotel.I would highly recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Luxury convenient to historic district"
Penn's View Hotel was fabulous! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms exceptionally comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very close to all of the historic sites, and an easy walk from Independence Hall. The continental breakfast included Belgian waffles, and was very good. The deep, sauna tub was great, and the hotel's providing […] of bubble bath was a very nice touch. The bed was infinitely comfortable. Because several buildings were joined together to form the hotel, rolling carts and suitcases can't make it to all of the rooms, but that wasn't a huge problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend, and will likely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to be in the Philly action"
Had a room ready even though we arrived before noon. Short walk to a SEPTA station and we were able to get all over town with a $7 day pass. Early flight caused us to miss the free breakfast. Sounds delicious and they offered to pack us a take away meal. Will surely return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Subway is just to the rear of the hotel, very convenient! Short walk to Independence Hall. We had a very pleasant stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
great room- very quiet and within easy walking distance of everything (Independence Hall, South Street, etc) . No coffee pot in the room but free coffee was available in the lobby. I have absolutely no complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Too pricey for the few ammenities. Noisy, only close to old town, smurf-sized shower, staff (except for concierge) was rude, tiny rooms, and the free breakfast was all carbs. Shower was moldy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort in Philly"
We´ve loved this hotel and Philadelphia. I´ve stayed with my family but it´s a perfect place for a Romantic getaway. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast is perfect, with delicious cookies, cakes and fresh fruits. The neighbourhood is excelent, in the Hystoric Center, near from many interesting places and good restaurants. I recomend […] Lulu´s and Fork. The price is the best cost-benefit. I recomend this hotel for everyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"All good but..."
We enjoyed the hotel and it's convenient location. Only issue was we were under the impression that overnight parking was included. It actually cost $21 to park in a lot adjacent to the hotel...a reasonable amount for city parking but unexpected expense.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Incredible service - just not ideal for kids"
I cannot say enough about how kind and gracious the service, decor, and atmosphere of this hotel were. The rooms, as you would expect at a historic hotel, were small but well appointed, with a variety of pillows, sheets, blankets, and a down comforter. The staff were possibly the kindest, most helpful, warmest hotel staff I have ever encountered. The […] continental breakfast, while fairly standard, is well-stocked, peaceful, and high quality. The only qualification I have is that this is not a great hotel for small children. Again, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, such as putting our milk in the refrigerator behind the front desk. The drawbacks are: stairs to get into the entry, no bathtub in the room, no refrigerator in the room, and the crib the hotel gave us was not long enough for my 20-month daughter to lay flat. Penn's View met and exceeded all my expectations! Iwas similar to European hotels, with a small lobby, personal service, an outstanding restaurant, and only 4 blocks from the Visitors' Center and the Liberty bell. WJFGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Penns View Hotel in Philadelphia"
We were warmly greeted by Adrian when we first entered and for the next 5 days she and the rest of the staff treated us well. The breakfast was better than most. While there was some street noise from nearby rt 95 we slept soundly. We were tourists without a car and the hotel sits next to the subway line and many bus lines. We also walked back and forth […] five blocks to and from the historic sites every day. The Old City is our favorite part of the City and we were pleased at our choice of hotels. "Penn's View - excellent choice"
Loved this hotel. I would highly recommend it. It was right on the river front and even though I-95 was right there, it was a quiet, restful night sleep. Parking is right there (there's a fee, it's self-park and a public lot) but it's close. We were in walking distance to the Liberty Center, Independence Hall and a good cheesesteak! We would stay again. […] The continental breakfast was great too. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Penn's View Hotel in Philadelphia (Old City), PA"
I am a fan of the Penn's View Hotel. My son (11) and I wanted to take a road trip to Philly for cheesesteak and sightseeing. i decided to follow the jingle to hotels dot com and review what was out there. i have never stayed over night in Philly but knew that I liked the Penn's Landing area and that it was close to many of the sites a first timer like […] 11 would like to see (Penn's Landing, The US Mint, The Mall). I found this hotel and to be perfectly honest, the price was right. I had never stayed in a boutique hotel before but anyone travelling with kids knows that complimentary breakfast rocks (which it actually did). The staff were amazingly accommodating and pleasant, the room was like Dr. Who's Tardis - small until you walked inside. Everything was tidy and well maintained. Downstairs at their restaurant, Ristorante Panorama, accessible thru the lobby, the food was delicious and our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. There is very affordable parking next door (someone is there at all times) and you can come and go as much as you like. In short, the staff at the hotel and restaurant the attendants at the parking area made this a trip worth making again. Next time I am in Philly, you can bet your bottom dollar that I am looking up the Penn's View Hotel. Kudos to you. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Personal Touch"
What a lovely hotel, staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has lots of character and is a historical building itself. Good situation, within walking distance of all the sites of historical interest. Cheap trolley firm 'Phlash' could take you to the rest as a hop on, hop off option. A very enjoyable stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
