This is a nice hotel in a great central location; the room was clean, but didn't quite reflect the attention to detail that one might expect -- in particular, someone had spilled liquid on the guest services literature in the room (should have been replaced not allowed to dry out and reused). Their "luxurious" robe had a small stain. The shower diverter […] didn't work quite right so while showering we also were treated to a foot bath. If you take the train or cab it -you will hve no worriesor complains. however -if you have acar, be prepared for the outrageous parking fees ($35-$43 per night). "Can't beat the price"
the hotel was beautiful and clean. the room was very large and the bedding was like sleeping on a cloud. The price was great especially with the parking included. "Westin Philly"
I have stayed at several different Westin hotels but this experience was quite interesting. First, I booked a 2 queen bed room (for 4 people) and I was given a 1 king bed room at check in. It was not until we got to the room to see there was only 1 bed for 4 adults. We were given a roll away free of charge since they did not have any available 2 queen […] bed rooms available for our entire stay. Second, there was a small fridge in the room but we could not use it for personal use because it had sensors which recorded if we removed ANY of the alcohol or juices; even if put it back without opening it we WOULD be charged. We had a great stay. The only downside is accessing your room. First you have to go through a lobby on the ground floor where you take the elevator to the check in area. I was surprised when i arrived they gave me room too fast and i was tired then i went to my room with my wife and the room with two beds not the king bed i requested online. I went back to the recieption with my wife and luggages i told the lady who was standing there this is not the room i reserved online she seems to me in the beginning that she doesn't […] know her hotel, she said oh really ! then she said we don't have one ready now u have to wait more than an hour to get one i told her yes i am going to wait she said i am going to call u. After 40 min i went back to them i wanted to see what happened on my case then i found a man standing i told him do i have to wait more? and he seems doesn't know the story then i told him and he said we have to take this one and it was king size bed but when i went there it wasn't city view as they said in the web online but i was so tired i accepted the room but it was bad experience to me and u can figure out how many mistakes they did to me . Loved the elegant decor of this hotel. The Westin Heavenly beds and linens were so comfortable. The location was excellent - walking distance to the historic Independance Hall, Liberty Bell and US Mint in addition to many museums.
