All was great but the bed matress was sagging. My wife and I felt we were sleeping in a fox hole. When I complained to the front desk they told me that I had a SleepNumber bed and can adjust the matress firmness. However, I checked both beds in the room and neither one of them were such type. The location is awesome. Our room this trip was very large - that was great too. Lots of room to spread out. We were excited for the sleep number beds but one of our two beds did not seem to be working and ended up very sunken. Room was lovely and big, plenty of room to move, very comfortable. I liked the fact it was free internet, which usually isn't the case with these hotels and was a deciding factor in our decision to stay here. It was only three blocks to the main bus route to the centre of town, but I found this slightly inconvenient. No family style dining in this area, […] outside of McDonald's, mostly upmarket which meant bringing food in. Hotel supplies a small fridge at a cost, which I feel is penny-pinching. The restaurants in the hotel were sub par and very expensive for the service and quality of food. While the staff was attentive, the food itself required better controls, as eggs were cold, hamburger came with a cold bun and tomatoes and mazzarella cheese were unappetizing due to the size and how the presentation was accomplished. This lovely hotel is located near Rittenhouse Square and near shopping and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Service was good and there is a restaurant and bar located in the lobby.

This hotel has some really nice things (lobby and beds, some new furniture), but it really needs updating (especially carpet) and several things needed to be cleaner (carpet, drapes, etc.). Location is fantastic, beds were very clean and very comfortable.

Stayed for four nights at beginning of August. Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Rittenhouse Square is a 2 minute walk away which has lots of restuarants and bars. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Philadelphia.
