The Radisson Plaza Warwick Hotel is located in the Rittenhouse Square District of Philadelphia, Pa. The property is one mile from the Philadelphia Convention Center and eight miles from Philadelphia International Airport. The 1926 building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features English Renaissance-style architecture. The Liberty Bell is one mile from the hotel. Restaurant Row is less than one-half mile away.

"Hotel underging renovation."
The hotel is undergoing a major renovation and the noise is a little much! My room (516) is on the back of the building, on an alley, facing a run down building! The alley is used by trash collection trucks at Night! Therefore very, very noisy!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place to stay for a few days of business"
Pleased with everything EXCEPT for the hotel restaurant. Was going to eat there for breakfast one morning but saw that the table runners on all the open tables were dirty with spots of food from previous diners. When booking hotel, we were not informed about the extra charge for pets. I was surprised when we checked in to find out that we would be charged an extra $50.00 plus $10 per day. The hotel is a historic site in a nice part of town. It was surprisingly well priced and not as expensive as I would have expected. There were some problems with the room (sleep number bed not working, shower leaking, closet door getting stuck), but they moved us into a new room, which had no problems at all. "Great Location and Great Beds"
When I tried to check in, clerk at the counter said "Sorry, your requested room is not available so I will give you 1 kings bed room(USD 10 cheaper than the room I requested)" and tried to make modification to my reservation. And she said the price is same and no refunds available. We complained to this rude treatment and a gentleman stood next to her […] promptly give us the room as I requested. So close to gorgeous Rittenhouse Square. I'd definitely stay there again. In the future, I would request a room in the back of the hotel and an upper floor for greater privacy. My room (424) didn't have a way to close the curtains all the way, and the street noise and building cooling system noise were very much audible. "Just one more negative mark against Philly...."
First, let me say I was not impressed with Philly. The city is filthy. Second, this hotel was horrible. The guy at the front desk was rude when we checked in, I could have over looked that, everyone has their days. The room was nice upon initial inspection, clean, decent size. Then I get on the bed to get some sleep, and the sleep number bed is awful. […] The heater in the room was noisy. The walls are so thin, I get to hear a guy on his phone most of the night speaking Russian, and every little noise from downtown Philly is heard perfectly from my room. Cars honking, people yelling (lots of bars) and fighting, frustrating. The silver lining, I called Hotels.com and asked them if I could switch hotels. They called the hotel and told them the situation, they agreed not to charge me the remaining days of my reservation. If they wouldn't have, it would've been the cherry on top. Side note: I was working in Pennsauken, NJ which is about 5 miles from the hotel. I figured I flew into Philly, might as well stay in Philly. Never again. Every time I crossed the bridge back into Philly it cost me $4.00, the city was filthy and downtown was too noisy for someone who actually has to get up in the morning to work. I frequently stay at this location when I travel to Philadelphia, but the draperies in my room on this trip were filthy. I am referring to the sheer draperies that were very dirty. This was our second stay at Radisson Warwick, and the second time we found problems with cleanliness in the bathroom (the previous time was during honeymoon, and we changed rooms as a result): This time, the problem was with the toilet seat, which had an unknown dirty substance on the toilet seat that needed to be cleaned off. That immediately tainted […] my perception of the stay. Otherwise, the room was comfy and reasonably sized. The location is quite nice for getting to University City and Society Hill (both of which I had to do), and the hotel had a 20-minute loading zone in front of it on 17th street, which made it quite convenient for shifting bags from car to/from room. There was no cable nor no newspaper the second day, likely because of the massive snowstorm overnight -- but it would have been nice to see the hotel take more proactive steps to fix these issues -- when I called the front desk about the cable issue, the staff was less than helpful on the matter. This was clearly an old building and rooms were old, but a pretty good job of gradually upgrading. The sleep number bed was probably useful, but I didn't use it. The wireless signal was terrible - it was a bit restrictive having to plug in to the ethernet cable (can't use the laptop in the chair or bed), but at least this option was available.
