"Great Stay"
Nice hotel with a very friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had plenty of amenities. Restaurants and coffee shop on site . "great location for cold weather"
Came for an art weekend with friends. The location was perfect, close to all museums so that we didn't have to go far in the very cold weather. The staff was extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants and all their recommendations were terrific. "Near Convention center"
Not many places to eat nearby. Hotel restaurant is very expensive. No free internet. Rooms are all the same, small. If you want good hotels for your buck, stay at a Marriott or Hilton. In the last 3 weeks, I stayed at a Marriott Courtyard and Hampton Inn and both were outstanding hotels with great service and nearby restaurants, plus free internet and […] free parking. "Not worth the money"
I needed some help from the concierge and although she was always polite and smiling the level of help was far less than expected. In my room, the T.V. didn't work, with they eventually fixed. "It was OK"
Went to check in at 11..PM and staff told me that my room wasn't ready due to dust. Don't know what would have happened if I checked in at 3pm like I could have but a room not ready at 11 PM is crazy. When I got into the room it was very dusty (apparently they did nothing to fix the known problem). The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking onto the toilet […] and the ceiling looked like an attempted repair was already made. The sheets were very stained and were promptly removed from the bed. The water pressure was terrible. The only pluses were the location in relation to downtown and the bed was comfortable especially the pillows. The staff was not pleasant at all either after all the inconveniences. From the front desk to the parking garage attendant, nothing but disrespect and rudeness. Overall it was great. We mostly walked or took the trolley which was really nice. We ddid rent a car to drive into New York and the overnight parking was expensive!! I love Sheraton, my husband and I were married at a Sheraton and had a wonderful experience. This Sheraton left a lot to be desired. The door to our room would not shut unless you forced shut with all your weight, the door to our bathroom just wouldn't close. The room across the hall from us had the same glasses outside there door for the entire weekend. […] The front desk gave us bad directions to a bar that was only a few blocks away. "Sheraton Philadephia"
Booked two rooms and stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. This hotel is in need of improvement in terms of cleanliness and service. The rooms were a good size but our experience was not a pleasant one. One of the rooms did not have any tolietries and the carpet hasn't been vacuumed. Then at night, the noise in the hallway was unbearable. At 12.30AM, you […] can hear people arguing outside. We ignored this and went back to sleep. Then it happened again at 1AM and again at 2:30AM. Finally called the front desk to complain. For a good 10 minutes all you heard were people cursing and yelling. We went in the morning to speak to the front desk, only to find trash all over the hallway. When we told the front desk, all they said was that the cleaning lady was not in yet and that the manager is not responsible for cleaning. They said the night manager did not inform them about the noise issue from the previous night. We insisted on a room change and that was granted. They said they will call us when the new rooms were ready, I called at 2PM to check on the status (rooms were not ready) but they never called us back. When got back to the hotel, we were not given the rooms that was promised either (one king and one double) . Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. "Great Stay for the Price"
I was pleasantly surprised with the condition and cleanliness of the hotel. Everything appeared to be very well kept especially considering the price, as I've payed much more for much worse hotels. Staff was friendly and attentive and the location is certainly convenient. Parking was a bit steep and there really are no alternatives in this area. $38 […] for 24 hours (with unlimited in and out). This was included in the details prior to booking, but was kind of in the fine print. The Pool is very small and is in an area that is currently under construction. If the use of the pool is one of your main selling features, I would recommend taking a closer look/inquiring prior to booking. Overall, this was a great place for the price and met all of our needs and then some. Also as we were staying 2 days, and had to go back in the room (10min) during the cleaning time, they just didn't cleaned the room. I think this is not actual standarts of a sheraton policy...
