On balance, we were very satisfied with the hotel. The room met our needs and the staff was quite pleasant and helpful. We had a few quibbles --- it's time for this property to enter 2013 and realize that charging for an internet connection in the sleeping rooms is really annoying and reflective of a different age; also, there was a sign on our fllor […] (the fourth) indicating that the ice machine and vending machines were in the direction of the elevators; after looking up and down the fourth level I did not find those machines. The bed was super comfortable and the room itself was super clean. However, the room itself seemed to be a lot smaller than it was represented as online. I had a great time at the hotel. It was very close to south street about a 5 minute walk and the room was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room service was delicious. The only thing that could have made our stay better was a more conveniently placed ice machine and/or a fridge in the room.

The hotel was very nice, but our carpet in our room needed to be vacuumed, and the pool, especially the hot tub (which smelled so funky I wouldn't use it), was cloudy. But the location was good and the people were nice. The eating places in the hotel were priced RIDICULOUSLY. Room service had a bagel and coffee for $22. Please.

Loved the hotel; recently updated and the heated pool was great for our 5 year old twins. My only complaint is the parking costs $38+ per day which is entirely too much. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Excellent position with key sites in walking distance. Sheratons need to provide net access in rooms though. You can get free access in the lobby but that can become a bind. However the pool is great especially on a hot day. This was my second visit and I would highly recommend it.

Fair location if you have a car, a bit noisy but there was a big convention, no free internet which is silly for the price of the room. Room was clean and comfortable. Valet parking was a bit slow so make sure and call way ahead of when you need your car. Would I stay here again... maybe, but I would explore other options.

Foom Service food was surprisingly good. The PRICE however, was outrageous.The Sheraton was exactly what you'd expect from a Sheraton. Good for a short stay. Otherwise too small and a bit dreary.

Easy walking distance to the sights and shops in the east half of town. The walk is through the nicest old residential areas, with that colonial feel. The rooms are clean, and they don't have that used to be smoking rooms smell. The hotel is in good shape, the room was fine, and service was good. However, the room was very costly and at this cost, there should be no charge for WIFI in the room. Plus, the hotel wanted to charge for both my computer and my wife's.

Beautiful Hotel in a great location right in Society Hill and near Old City and the waterfront. However, right now they are undergoing renovations so they warn you about noise and other disturbances. Locatio is a plus. Close to downtown. Parking on-site is valet only, and it costs $32 PLUS $7 tax PLUS $2 tip...OUCH! There is a self park garage a block away. I'll try it next time. Other nearby hotels were at least $50 more per night yet this newly refurbished hotel was nicely done. My only complaint is the very loud noise upon arrival due to a function in the main lobby which lasted only until 7:30pm. Very good, but as I have stated, the pool could use a really good scrubbing. The location and hospitality of the staff was great.
