The stay was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very pleasant, friendly, and helpful to provide me with directions. The hotel location was difficult to find in the dark since you can't see it from the main road and no signs to point people in the right direction. Hotel is clean and personnel very friendly. It is close to South Shore Plaza and its stores and restaurants so there are amenities within reach. The City of Boston is close by car and accessible by MBTA from Braintree Station (where you only pay a $7 all day flat fee for parking). We stayed from out of the US during my son's move-in weekend to his […] college in Downtown Boston. We were able to do all the shopping in the Stoughton area and also in Braintree. The hotel is located a couple of miles from South Shore Plaza as well as the Braintree Station where you may take the Red Line into Boston (with parking only $7 all-day flat fee). We had a very good overall experience at this hotel. Rooms were clean, close to Quicy Adams station. You can be in the Boston city in about 40 mins. Reception desk were very helpful. Quality: My familiarity with this chain had been limited to a different location, whose amenities and services were *very* basic. The Braintree location exceeded my expectations in every way: the room were not at all cramped, very clean. The staff were both friendly and accomodating. Value: The Boston area is relatively pricey, and this was easily the standout in price if you considered the included breakfast. It would have added a significant amount if I had needed to take my family (8 of us, 2 rooms) to a restaurant for breakfast. Our only disappointment was that one of our two non-smoking rooms had indeed been smoked in some time in the past. Unfortunately, I wasn't told aboyt that until after we had left and were back on the road, so there was no opportunity for me to address it with the staff. For my business, Holiday Inn Express wat PERFECTLY located to Quincy and Boston. It was extremely convenient and practical. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel breakfast was better than most, and the fact that it was included was a bonus. WiFi was free and that's another huge amenity. The bed was very comfortable, there were dark (black out) curtains, and the water pressure for the shower was great! I'm usually disappointed with light pressure at most hotels. There was a wide flat screen tv in the room, which offered HBO and most cable channels for free. The only negative comment I would make is about the fan in the bathroom. "An easy and comfortable stay...."
I was only in town for two nights. I was able to check in quickly with no problems what-so-ever. The room was warm at first b/c the AC was not on but other than that it was clean and cozy. Prices for the Boston area tend to run high but this hotel was average in price. It was close to the highway and closer to the airport than I had thought (15 minutes […] give or take depending on traffic). Breakfast service was decent and seemed fresh. Had a variety of small muffins, cereal, sausage, eggs, biscuits.... Overall I had no problems other than the ice machine was broken down and had to go to the opposite end of the hotel to get to the other (which wasn't a big deal). I would stay there again. I found the Holiday Inn Express was very clean, and the room had just about everything one would need, including the refrigerator and a microwave. The location was good as well. Holiday Inn is my first choice even when I travel overseas. We checked in at 2 in the night and the staff at front desk was extremely helpful and quick. This hotel was only 5 mins from the T (metro) by car and they provide a complementary shuttle to the T station if you don't have a car, we had our car so it wasn't a problem. Parking at the T station(Quincy […] Adams) was $ 7.00 for the whole day on the weekend. Beds were really comfy and hotel and room were really clean. I can't praise enough abt their breakfast. So many things to choose from. They had bagels,toast, eggs, omelet, bacon, biscuits,gravy,muffins,danish rolls,3 types of cereals, milk,coffee and tea,yogurt,bananas and apple. It was a time and money saving thing for us since we were two adults and two kids so we saved around $ 30 on breakfast itself. Check out was also a breeze and the staff seemed really nice. The parking is free so that's a plus. Only thing was that the elevator was broke the second day and we had to take stairs which was alright since we were on the second floor and they just have 4 floors so not a biggie. Once again I am very pleased with Holiday inn/express and will stay in the future also. Remember : The first night we got off at the wrong metro stop Quincy center instead of Quincy Adams and couldn't find the parking lot and the info guy said it happens all the time,there are three T stops that being with Quincy. we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting for the Stanley Cup Finals. It was a little out of Boston, but we used the 'T' train system so easily, and it was great! the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to the station for free, however it does only run till 3pm, so if you're coming home late you'll have to get a cab from the station (only […] a few minutes back to the hotel).
