"Closest to BYU"
Hotel convenient location. Night manager has a bad attitude. Mattresses saggy but i slept well. Found items from previous guest under the bed. Bathroom was clean. "Fun stay for the price"
If you are a BYU fan this is fun place to stay, especially if you are there for a football game, it is so close to the stadium. There are also BYU pictures of BYU greats and memorobelia all over. Its a bit old and run down and the TVs are CRTs not flat screen (but I thought I heard one of the desk workers say they are upgrading them soon), but for the […] price it is a good value. The breakfast is the best one I've ever had for the hotel rate, most hotels that are this cheap don't even offer breakfast. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful with everything. "Good place to stay - especially for the price."
The bed was very comfortable and we had a mini-fridge and a microwave in our room. Good Cable - Direct TV. Good breakfast. Needed some maintenance, but that didn't bother us. I really enjoyed being with my boys and taking it easy. I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't come in the exercise room with me. They are older and my oldest knows how to use them (13 years). The complimentary breakfast was dissapointing. The staff was not on top of refilling items as they ran out. They did not offer much of a variety of breakfast items. "Right on campus"
Like the other reviewers, I too agree this is the closest place you can stay to BYU. We were across the road and it was nice. The condition of the hotel was a little run down, but the price was just right for us. It does take some time to get through town to the hotel, but I suppose that is just how BYU is. "Older Hotel with Nice Features"
The hotel was 'interesting" to get into. There are two entrances off of two main streets, but only one main entrance. It isn't clearly defined until you have to turn around. It didn't seem that any of the outside doors actually locked (except the pool room) and made us slightly concerned. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Our main purpose […] in choosing this location was that the pool was listed. When we checked in, we asked about the pool and it was opened but the hot tub was not. Once we got into the pool though, we didn't care. The pool room was steam filled and the pool was the warmest we have EVER been in (comparable to the hot tub!) The pool was difficult to find because it is outside a side hallway. This side door and the pool door do lock though and the lock is not very sensitive to the card, so be careful. The room was as expected for an older hotel. Outdated furniture and fixtures. The bedding was newer and felt great. Breakfast was a welcome treat. We were expecting the bagel/donut/coffee breakfast but were given choices of cereal, waffles, fruit, muffins, and coffee/juice. The indoor pool is open 24 hours. The free breakfast had very limited selection (bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit). The hotel is next door to a Dairy Queen.
