"Musty Smell"
I thought there was a musty smell in the hallways and in the rooms themselves. It didn't bother my husband, but I picked up a solid air freshner to put by the air conditioner. That made it a little better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Staff has major issues"
We were doing a trade show with long hours. We don't spend much time in our room. On the first night everything was great. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. However the next day was a different story. When we left the room at 6:30am we left the Maid Service sign on the door, so they would know that they could clean out room. When we returned […] at 8:00pm that evening, the sign was still on the door. When we entered we found that nothing had been done. I went to the front desk. It took five minutes to get the attention of the front desk clerks. When I asked if they had maid service, she informed me that they did. I explained how I found the room. She looked on the motel cleaning sheet and the maid had put that we had the do not distrub sign out. I told her no it was the mail service requested sign and she infomed me that they probably could not ready what it said. "La Grande Inn, La Grande, OR"
The hotel is older but inside it shows alot of renovation. The biggest problem was a musty smelly hallway and room. We were so tired that we got used to the smell is the room. The bed was ok, and the room was clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
