For a family vacation this was a good option, it was very child friendly. The facility was clean and security made regular appearances at the pool. The indoor pool is large and the water slide was a hit. The outdoor pool was actually a lazy susan. There was no snack or bar service at the pool. Our room was nice with comfortable beds. Efficient staff and check-in. Room was clean and comfortable. Only negatives were: no cafe or restaurant, and we received a early call requesting that our room needed to be inspected and a "welcome" gift delivered. This was a devious attempt to sell us a "vacation" package.

Located in the quiet part of town. Can't walk to restaurants etc. Staff were pretty helpful, but too much of a timeshare push. No daily room service. Really designed for long stay than a couple of days.

This was a great time of year to go to the coast. No crowds or lines & got to enjoy great food &cool weather. The hotel staff was very polite, efficient & was ready for us when we walked into the hotel. This is a owner's type property (timeshare), so there was a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dining table, full bath w/whirlpool & a master […] bedroom w/a balcony that overlooked the ocean. We were located on the 17th floor w/a spectacular view of the ocean from the bedroom balcony - watched the sun rise from bed. The 2nd balcony, located in the main living area, overlooked the strip. It was too cool to use the pool, though I understand it is heated to 80 degrees +. There was also a hot tub & a waterslide. The bed was VERY comfortable, hot water on demand & room very clean. We asked what restaurants the staff would recommend, & were given a few. One was the Sea Merchant, about a 10-15 min drive (due to the speed limit & traffic lights). Scallops, oysters & fish were so good, fork tender, no fishy taste, & light. With bread, salad & vegetables, we brought "home" leftovers. We were invited to take an "ownership" update which we were interested in as Wyndham has purchased RCI, so wanted to know how that program worked. We were treated professionally w/courtesy & given a view on purchasing a unit at this resort, which we declined. No hard pressure sale. Nice hotel, we stayed here while attending a wedding of a friend, and it was nice to be able to have a fridge with icemaker, even an oven to make a frozen pizza late night! The beds are very comfortable and the room was very clean!

My husband and I came to this hotel for a short weekend getaway and was surprised how great our room was! The full kitchen allowed us to have all our comforts from home available during out trip. We arrived and quickly discovered we were being targeted by on site timeshare marketers at check-in. The incentive to participate in the hour and a half hard sell was attractive, so we agreed. Unless you want to sacrifice a couple hours of precious vacation time, we suggest you avoid these folks. We have no need for additional beds and still prefer to sleep in the same bed- one larger than a double. Beds--not sure when they last purchased new mattresses, but the investment is overdue. All the linens in the world cannot disguise a bad mattress. But the pillows and linens were clean and unworn. The location is acceptable and local grocery and pharmacy are within decent walking distance of less than a mile. When we booked this hotel online, we didn't know it was a timeshare resort. At check in, we were given a $100 gift card, along with a certificate for a 7 day, 6 night stay at various hotels. We had to attend a 90 minute orientation. (which we didn't have to sit through because we waited 40 minutes without speaking to anyone, so they said we could go). […] They said they don't advertise - but use us to their advertising for them. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, , which included a living room, full kitchen (granite countertops), 3 flat screen tv's, and a washer/dryer. The King bed was very comfortable! I would recommend this hotel highly! The staff were very kind and accommodating! The restaurants left something to be desired. We didn't find a restaurant that had made to order meals. The studio room was very small for three people. The only negative aspect was that housecleaning was not offered every day. You had to take your dirty towels down to the front desk yourself to get clean ones. You also had to take your own trash out at the end of your stay. This was not explained to us when we booked. We stayed on the 17th floor and the elevators were fast and available. Would stay here again now that we know what to expect with housekeeping but would get a bigger room next time. I love Wyndham Resorts and Towers on the Grove is a great one! The staff accommodated us once I realized I booked the wrong size room. Fortunately a larger room was available and the staff made our room switch easy. Great beach view and closeness. Definitely a good choice, comfy beds too.

Like the title says, the beds were the worst part of this experience. My wife is pregnant so that made it a bit worse, but we managed. The condo was beautiful. The room was gorgeous and you are right on the beach. Amenities and staff were great as well. Be advised though, they are trying to sell condos in this building, so be prepared to be given the […] 'pitch' for a welcome lunch where they walk you around and try and sell you one of their condos. You can't get your parking pass until you hear this pitch. I told her straight up i was not interested and i was there to relax and not be sold something, and she let it go without being pushy. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room were well maintained. The room was very nice and included beach towels for our use, flat screen TVs in three rooms, and nice furniture. This was my 5th time staying at north myrtle beach, and this was by far my favorite place! It is a very nice resort. Very nice staff, and clean resort. Has an awesome lazy river, and water slide! We had a one bedroom oceanfront room, and it was plenty big enough for our family of three.

The rooms were nice. But be warned a 1 bedroom is nothing more than a regular room w a partition in the front for a small sofa and TV. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer were very convenient. We didn't cook but did use the blender for drinks and did all of our laundry before we came home. While checking into the hotel the front desk tried to give us an upgrade but when we went up to the room our keys didn't work. Came back down stairs and gave us new keys but not to the upgraded room. A complete mess checking in. The hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. The rate was very good given the time of our weekend trip and the season.

The Wyndham Towers on the Grove was a great hotel to get away and not worry about tourists or housekeeping bothering you. It was like having our own apartment at the beach which was fine with me.
