This beachfront condominium resort is in North Myrtle Beach, next to the OD Pavilion Amusement Park and within easy walking distance of historic North Myrtle Beach's commercial district and Fat Harold's Beach Club. Surf Golf and Beach Club is about a mile from the resort. The Carolina Opry is 3 miles away.
Hotel Features.
Ocean Drive Beach & Golf Resort features an oceanfront outdoor pool, a lazy river, an indoor splash pool, and two spa tubs. A poolside bar is open seasonally. A DJ spins Top-40 classics nightly at the Spanish Galleon nightclub. A beach-view café serves daily buffet breakfasts (surcharge) with hot and cold selections. This North Myrtle Beach resort also offers a video arcade, and fitness facilities.

Spanish Galleon - Popular with locals, this up-tempo nightclub features a local DJ spinning Top-40 dance classics. Guests must be 18 to enter; 21 to purchase alcoholic beverages. Open evenings until late.
Tiki Bar and Grill - This poolside bar serves beach fare: hot dogs, hamburgers, buffalo wings, fried shrimp baskets, chicken fingers, soft drinks, and cocktails. Open daily, late morning through evening (seasonal).
Ocean Drive Beach & Golf Resort does not have a restaurant that serves a sit-down lunch or dinner, but several dining options in the surrounding North Myrtle Beach area are within walking distance.

South Carolina is a popular destination for golfers, with 120 courses along the Grand Strand; 35 championship courses are within 20 miles of the resort. Fishing and boating are available in the neighboring village of Little River (three miles away).

We had a great stay. Even though it was bike week, which we were not aware of, the hotel was kept clean, great service by the staff and the location was perfect for us. .We were able to walk where ever we wanted to go. Room and entire inside of facility (not only our room) was not clean and has a horrible odor. Front desk staff was rude, never smiled when we politely asked for our room to be re -cleaned OR as we were simply passing by. "Expected better"
Upon arrival, it was very difficult to find parking and we checked into our room to find an ash tray in the seating area. We immediately called the front desk and to our surprise, we were given a room on a smoking floor with no option to move to a non-smoking floor. The front desk said since we booked using hotels.com, we were given "whatever rooms […] are left over". I was not expecting to hear this, since I paid more on hotels.com to get a room with a beach view. To be told I was given whatever is leftover didn't align with my expectations. The first night, we heard loud, drunk neighbors until about 2AM. An old hotel trying to keep up but not doing a very good job of it. Low water pressure was frustrating even with very few hotel guests. Little hot water available on Sunday morning. Heat was inadequate; air was blowing almost constantly but it was not warm. We reserved a suite with king bed and were given two double beds instead. Very uncomfortable […] beds. Front desk would not make a change once we checked in and examined the room. Suite was located adjacent to elevator used by cleaning crew so it was very noisy as they came and went in morning. Lobby had a dank smell. To allow room for murphy bed, there was very little furniture in "living area" so the tiny loveseat was the only furniture and it was very uncomfortable. Great location, my boyfriend and I spent the weekend of his birthday here and we had a great time. The staff was pleasant but be prepared to pay a nominal resort fee when you arrive. They took care of whatever i needed like a wine opener etc. They have an indoor jacuzzi and pool, restaurant and nightclub. We will definitely go back. Parking was ok. We had to park across the street most of the time but there is plenty of parking surrounding the area. Only negative was the bathroom sink was stopped up and my remote wasnt working but they took care of the remote ASAP and I forgot to report that the sink was clogged. And it smells like a nursing home in the lobby lol (my bf said it is because of all of the old people that were there- no offense to any elderly people)! "My Third Stay"
We've stayed at this property for 3 yrs in a row and have been very pleased overall. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. I asked for an early check-in and they had no problem with that. The location is fantastic, with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping within walking distance. Hoskins Restaurant on Main St is terrific. Nothing fancy, […] just really good food at a reasonable price. It's a smaller hotel than the surrounding properties, but has all the amenities. Plenty of deck chairs to go around, tubes for the lazy river, pools and hot tubs were clean. The night club was actually open this year. Not really our thing - we'd rather go to the OD Arcade and Lounge up the street. The oceanfront room was fine for us. All we need is a place to clean up, sleep, and store our stuff while we play. The bed was too hard for me, but I dealt with it. Housekeeping was hit or miss this year. Some days it was outstanding, other days it was almost non-existent.
