One of the original Full-Service Hotels built in West Yellowstone - operating continuously and open year-round - serving travelers and explorers since 1948. The Hotel is two (2) stories (with an elevator) located in the heart of West Yellowstone - part of the Historic Walking Tour- 3 blocks from the Park. It has unique Swiss Architecture and old-fashioned open Lobby area with the original "Grand Staircase" decorated in a "Montana Lodge" theme with a unique display of trophy animals in the Lobby.

The Stage Coach Inn is proud to be home to "Amigos Mexican Restaurant" - open daily for Dinner. The restaurant specializes in fresh, authentic, Mexican food in a clean, family-friendly, festive environment. The most popular dishes include the Burritos, Tacos, and Quesadillas, along with combination plates for Carne Asada, Chile Rellenos, Fish Tacos, and Fajitas (Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp), and there is a Little Amigos menu for children under 10 years old. The Desert menu includes Fried Ice Cream and Churros. Beverages include Milk, Juice, Soda, Jarritos, Coffee, Tea, Beer, and Wine.
In addition, during the summer there are over 30 restaurants within a three (3) block radius of the Hotel. Our Front Desk Agents will be happy to assist you with menus, guidance, and directions.
The Stage Coach Inn offers to all registered guests use of the Spa with two (2) hot-tubs and a sauna (dry) to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the park and surrounding areas. Plans are already in the works for adding a Swimming Pool and Exercise Room to the Hotel's Recreational facilities in the Fall/Winter of 2012.
Choosing to stay at the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park gives you the advantage of splitting the "Upper" and "Lower" Loops during your visit - without ever having to drive across the entire park to see an attraction or return to the Hotel. The management was friendly, the room was a bit small, prices were good. Next time we would pay a little more for a larger & more deluxe room.It was clean. The breakfast was OK. "Great location just outside Yellowstone"
Friendly staff. Some housekeeping problems - first room assigned hadn't been cleaned but they quickly gave us a new room. That room didn't have any wash cloths. Breakfast was very basic continental. But the decor was very Western and fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Big rip off!"
The hotel has a newer wing that may be okay. We stayed in what was obviously the old run down side! Room was priced at triple what a comparable room anywhere would go for. A very nice and clean Inn, the room was rather small however, given the great rate we were quite satisfied. The Inn was built in about 1948 when people were smaller and so the rooms were smaller. We Americans (I for one) have gotten "too big for our britches" so the rooms seemed small. Afterall, even if the room is smaller than average, don't you spend […] most of your time in the room with your eyes closed? The one drawback would be the "Mexican" restaraunt on premise is not very good at all. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat there. Go about 2 blocks away and eat at Bullwinkle's". I chose this hotel for the location. It has a very western theme, and that was great for us (we went to the rodeo while we were there), but if you're looking for something more modern, keep in mind this is an inn that has preserved the decror of the post WWII era in which it was built. "Nice facility"
We arrived by motorcycle so were very pleased with the underground parking facility. We spent three nights using this hotel as our base for great rides through Yellowstone Park. Room rates are a bit on the expensive side but this is perhaps true of most hotels in resort areas.
