I was leery when first booking this stay, due to being unfamiliar with the Best Western hotel chain. I was pleasantly surprised upon check in. Lobby quaint and clean, parking lot clean, hallways and all public spaces were clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Rooms were very outdated and there was an odor. Bathrooms had tiles falling off the wall. Beds were very squeaky. One of our rooms was next to the stairs on the first floor. We were woken up repeatedly with people running up and down the stairs. The worst part was there was no hot water! My husband took a cold shower. 4 other people in our party went […] without. Unacceptable. We were told by desk clerk that this happens sometimes when the hotel is full and she would let the manager know. Someone behind me in line was complaining about the same thing. We have stayed in Wytheville before at a different hotel that cost nearly double the cost of the Best Western and I may be more pleased with the Best Western! Very clean rooms, and pretty good breakfast! Not the easiest to find off the highway, but GPS naviagtion get you there.

We loved this hotel for the price. It was a little out of town, but not far off the expressway. A very quiet location. Breakfast area was very nice as was the breakfast. Very comfortable.

We had been staying at multiple places during our week long travel and this was by far the best! Nice clean rooms, the pool was small but a great size for a quick dip a couple times a day for our small boys. The locale was great for us, everything we needed was close by the hotel and the staff were all very nice and helpfull the whole time.

Stayed here on the way out and the way back. Great for a quick overnight especially with a pet. Great area around the hotel for walking the dog and even a small fenced in area for letting them off the leash. Continental breakfast was better than most and neat little eating area in the lobby. Room was large and big tv was great. Some of the wallpaper was falling down and that was a little gross. The hotel was under repair so hopefully they were going to fix that. The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. However, the set-up for breaksfast is terrible and there was no help for breaksfast. My husband didn't eat anything and I had to stand to eat a few things.

We were very pleased with this hotel and ended up staying here both on our way to and on our way back from Florida. I would recommend it as a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced family Inn. The continental breakfast was a nice treat as well.

Was looking for a decent cheap hotel for a one-night stay. Hotel far exceeded my expectations. Room was clean and well-decorated, bed was comfy, free wi-fi, friendly staff, easy check-in. Nice pool and breakfast area. Hot waffles, biscuits & gravy, pastries, cereal, choice of juices. Would definitely stay again.

Room was nice, place is convenient. But the kids wouldn't even swim in the pool due to the amount of dead bugs and lack of filtration. Shouldn't even advertise a pool. Maybe the word swamp would be more appropriate.

We didn't expect much from a hotel in Wytheville. Hallway reaked of smoke but thankfully the room didn't. The first room we were sent to had a broken and unmade bed. The second room had a non-functioning smoke detector and the deadbolt would not work. The mattresses were old and not at all comfortable. There was a crack in the middle of the bathtub that had been glued over. The "fitness room" was a motel room with a broken treadmill, a weight station, an […] elliptical, and a stationary bike. Our stay was satisfactory for what we required. We would suggest offering fresh fruit instead of fruit cocktail and maybe a crock pot of hot oatmeal instead of the instant packages. This was one of the poorer breakfasts we encountered on our trip. The room decor was rather drab although we think it might have been recently done.

Was just a quick stay overnight while travelling. Did not use any of the other facilities such as the pool. Room was good and served its purpose for a family of 4. Not much seating available at the inclusive continental breakfast area, so we took it back to our room, but it had a pretty good variety for the price of hotel. Was a non-smoking room but […] next door to smoking rooms and hallways did smell of smoke, but our room did not. Would be better if they put all smoking rooms on the top floor and left lower for non smoking. Not far from the Interstate exit and a few other hotels beside it.
