The hotel was clean and the staff very good. My problem was that it was too far from the heart of Waikiki and the club at the hotel was very noisy, keeping me up at night (our room faced the pool/club area).

We had many communication problems, were not told when we changed from King to 2 Queens that there would be no Lanai, room wasn't cleaned until 4pm each day, we really would have liked to have a nice room to come back to after the pool, shopping, etc. No fridges in the room, no coffee pots, had to request them. It was not a happy experience.

Staff was not very helpful; Hotel is OK (Ikea decor), location is OK but not great (you're at least a 20-minute walk from the "action"). Skip the breakfast at the hotel - its mediocre and expensive.

To say that this hotel is modern would be an understatement. Everything looked very good, and was clean, but the bed and the furniture were very uncomfortable. The bed was very stiff. Starting on a positive note, the hotel looks great inside and must have been remodelled recently. Clean lines and cool colours. As the name suggests, very modern. You are about a 10 minute easy walk to Waikiki, and some of that is waiting at traffic lights!. Onto the negative, I had read about the noise so we asked for a higher up room. The 16th floor would seem to do the trick, but no - what a racket! They must have used lower quality windows and thin walls because you can hear the frequent sirens and traffic noises very clearly. And lets not forget the people partying into the wee small hours - again, what a racket. When we mentioned the noise at check-out, the gal said it may have been from their nighclub, so I wished we had called down to complain. It was not bad hotel, we expected better cleanliness for the star rating the hotel has a good location though, very close to the hilton village that has some shops. and the hotel is a 15 minute walk from Kalakaua Street.

We love the hotel. The pool side service was horrible. It appeared they had new staff and they didn't know what they were doing. They were NOT working as a team and the pool manager was no where to be found. Finally after day two, the room service manager (Can't remember his name, tall with glasses) helped out the pool area and things seem to run smoother. […] The bartenders by pool side were horrible. This hotel and the rate sales it offers are a scam. I would much rather stay at any Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, etc... resort. The hotel is by no means "modern.". The elevator up to the room feels like you are riding a wooden roller coaster, and the street noise in the rooms makes it nearly impossible to sleep. I was misinformed about what I was paying for. I thought that I had paid for an "Ocean View" (Online Reservation @ hotel.com). Hotel Counter Staff informed me that according to their information, I paid for a "Partial Ocean View". Service was OK. A lot of noise from the nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights. So ask for a room far away from the nightclub.Location not so good, pity it is so far from Wakkii Beach. Breakfast was expensive, but the hotel was close to shops. Tour booking girl was not helpful at all.

I loved this hotel, however I felt like the hotel was let down by the reception staff. They were ineffectual, pompous and unfriendly. However, I must emphasize that this was only the reception staff. All the other staff were lovely, especially the pool attendants. They were much more knowledgeable and were able to give us "off the beaten paths" places […] to explore, rather than the usual concierge recommendations. We often went downtown for dinner and drinks rather than fight the crowds in Waikiki. The hotel is in lovely condition and has all the amenities you need. It is a bit of a walk into Waikiki but you can always jump on a trolley. These are not explained to you on check in, but basically it is $2 per person and stops at most hotels en route to Waikiki. It is a 5 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping centre, which can prove expensive! All in all the hotel is really good. The friendliness of the reception staff did spoil the holiday a bit for us and we would have to think seriously if we would stay here again. They did not fix anything we reported, and they did not seem interested. As these are the front of house people, it is important to have the right staff. I would be tempted to try some of the other hotels for comparison purposes, ie the Halekulani or Trump. However, you might hit lucky and just happen to get the right people at the right time when you need something. We were just a little unlucky (maybe). Read more

dont stay there on thursday friday saturday as we were on level 7 and were still kept awake from the noise of the in house nightclub. Management dont seem to understand you go to a hotel to sleep not listen to locals loudly shouting and gathering downstairs outside the club. We didnt get to sleep till 5am.They seem to be smoking and on Sat night we […] couldnt even get into the lobby without pushing though the crowd. 以前から気になっていたので、泊まってみました。FRONTBARの造りも、POOLもお部屋のインテリアもスタッフも、中々のレヴェルでした。うわさの週末のCLUBの音も確かに聞こえはするものの、、、たいした問題ではありませんでした。それよりももともとイリカイをリノべーションして作ったものだから、うえのフロアーの物音、隣の部屋の物音、廊下の音がとても気になりました。残念ながら浴室もシャワーだけだし、シャワーだけでおもっと広くてステキなところもありますし、、このラックレートの450ドルを出して泊まることはないと思います。でもPOOLはいいかな、、。

週末は１Fのクラブが営業するため、夜からドレスアップしたロコや観光客の若者たちで大賑わい。深夜まで外はキャーキャーと賑わっていました。だから、夜遊びもエンジョイしたい人にはお勧め。ただ、都会的喧騒から逃げたくて、ハワイに癒しを求めてたい人にはお勧めできません。ホテルはリノベーションしたデザイナーズ系。プールはおしゃれ。ホテルマンがおしゃれでキュートだったのも特筆♪

방청소를 말끔하게 해주는 편은 아닌 것 같다. 아이와 함께해서 신경쓰이는 부분이었음. 나중에는 타월도 채워놓지 않아 전화해서 가져다달라고 했지만 다음날이 되어도 가져다주지 않았음. 그 외에 다른 써비스도 별로. 2층의 모래있는 풀장은 이벤트가 많아 정작 숙박하는 사람들은 이용을 못할 때가 많음.

その名の通り、全てが「モダン」の一言で片づけてしまうしかないですね。旧イリカイホテルを最新のインテリアで化粧直ししたホテルです。スタッフも「ホテルマン」というよりは、「カッコいいお姉さん＆お兄ちゃん」ということで、老舗のホテルのようなクオリティを求めてはいけません。ルームクリーニングをお願いしても来ないし、シャワーが丸一日使えないでクレームしたら「下のフロアーのフィットネスのシャワーをどうぞ～♪」という感じで全くお詫びの姿勢はなし。2階には森本シェフのレストランが入っていて、それはGOOD。1階には人気のクラブが入っているので、週末は夜中まで部屋に低重音の振動があり、イライラします。

６月中旬に５泊しました。仕事の関係もあり部屋でwifiが使えることがポイントでしたが、ホテルの名前の通りモダンでスタイリッシュな素敵な部屋でした。スタッフの対応もフレンドリーでとても満足でした、ただ１点、夜の「騒音」を」除けば・・・。ホテル１階にクラブがあり、週末だけでなく平日も夜中～朝方にかけて体を揺り起こすほどの音楽と奇声で、ほとんど安眠できず。夜の騒音を避けてワイキキ中心部でないこの場所を選んだのにガッカリでした。

これがハワイだ！って仰々しい感じでなく、どこにもあるシンプルなホテルっていうところが、かえって好感がもてた。ワイキキの喧噪が嫌だ、でもそこそこ買い物もしたいっていう人にはいいかも。ワイキキで夜にご飯を食べても歩いて帰って来れる距離だし。どうしてもワイキキのビーチで寝たいという人にはむきませんので（念のため）。

2010年に改装されて、お洒落な雰囲気でした。 カップルや新婚にはお勧めしますが家族ではどうかと。 理由としては、夜のBARやクラブの低音や騒ぎ声など6Fでも 聞こえました。 お洒落な雰囲気を求めるなら良いかと思います。

モダンホテルはその名通りモダンでした。 部屋の空調の温度が上がりきらず、朝晩はちょっと寒かったです。 冷蔵庫はワインセラーでした。でもそこにミネラルウォーターを入れたらキチンと冷えましたよ。 部屋用にスリッパが用意されていて、日本的で安心しました。(JAL便エコノミー席で配っていたものより上質でした) 日本人の客が他にいなかったところは確かに良かったです。 サーファー的ルックス抜群のイケメンばかりですが，その辺のお兄ちゃんがたむろってる感じで話し込んでいて、ポーターとしてはあまりイケてなかったかな… 徒歩圏内にABCストアとレンタサイクルがあったので便利でした。

デザイナーズホテルという感じで、素敵な印象ですが、スタッフについては、もう少しサービス意識が改善できると思います。若いスタッフが多く、プロ意識に少し欠けるような気がしました。 アラモアナに近く、ワイキキにもトロリーバスで5分程度で行けるので便利です。静かでワイキキの喧騒はないため、ゆっくり滞在したい方にオススメ。 バスタブがなかったのが、残念です。 モリモトのお料理はおいしいです。
