OHANA Waikiki West

I am seventy years old, and have stayed in quite a number of hotels. I would have to say that the Ohana West, in my opinion, is rated in the bottom one percent of the hotels that I have stayed in.

Definitely nothing amazing about this hotel but the pool below did look nice. we had a kitchenette combo, which is a room with a kitchenette adjoining another room. We were supposed to have 4 beds, but ended up with 3. I didn't complain because it didn't really affect us; but beware. The halls/rooms/etc are not amazing; but they did not gross me out […] and were way more reasonable than other hotels in the area. Great water pressure in our room, not so great in the one next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would probably stay here again if on a budget. Read more

We had a wonderful stay. The only complaint we had was that the room smelled stuffy. The bathroom is very small,but that didnt bother us,after all we just slept there. We would stay ther again for sure. We were close to everything. We ate at Dennys across the street. Good prices if you are on a budget. We used the bus sevice that got you everywhere. […] Our plane left at 9pm. Check out was at noon. THey let us store our luggage and then they gave us a courtisy room for half an hour so we could clean up befor our flight. A big plus. Read more

The Ohana waikiki west is in a good spot if you want to be close to some shopping areas and a lot of places to eat so the location of the hotel was great. As for the rooms I was not very impressed the kitchen was very small and the shower was really small also the tv was not high quality. Ohana West is in a very convenient position, with free pink trolley rides around Waikiki, and within walking distance to the beach and the Market is around the corner. Ohana West is in a great location in the heart of Waikiki. Staff are very friendly and rooms are nice and spacious. Only down sides are that the bathrooms are very outdated, and you can often hear the guests above you flushing the toilet! Also, there is only wifi in the lobby, not inside rooms.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel provides a good priced shuttle bus service to the outlets and to and from the airport. A great corner store open till late is across the road as with Denny's 24hr diner providing good meals for a reasonable cost. Chilli's Bar & Grill downstairs is also very handy. The beach front is only a short walk away […] and the free pink flag trolley service which comes every 10 mins was super handy, taking you around the main shopping areas of Waikiki and to Ala Moana - the worlds largest Open Air Shopping Centre. Although the furniture is a little dated and the lifts slow, I can't complain for the cost of the room - after all, all the fun is to be had outside the hotel! I would stay here again. Read more

Hotel offered exactly what I required, easy access to a variety of restaurants and shopping outlets as well as being able to make bookings for different tours. The accommodation met every need I required and I found the housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful. Having a pool on the complex was an added bonus. My room was clear and having a kitchenette […] allowed me my own time to have what I wanted, having a mini supermarket close by to shop at. Would definitely return to use these facilities again. We spent 2 weeks at the Ohana West Hotel in Waikiki. The hotel was clean and affordable and in a very good location in central Waikiki close to all amenities. The hotel has lots to offer and staff were very helpful to make our stay comfortable. In the Lobby is a Tour Booking Desk with staff that can answer all your questions and book any of the tours […] that you are interested booking. A shuttle pick up and drop off at the side of the hotel also makes this a great place to stay when visiting Waikiki. The hotel is a bit dated, but is clean, comfortable and affordable. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel & will continue to stay here. Very helpful & cheerful staff at check-in & at their tour desk, located within a very easy walk to the beach & restaurants & the area is not too noisy. Lifts are slow on occasion but that's to be expected when the hotel if full.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only problem we had was that we were on the sixth floor at the front of the building right across from where the ladies of the night congregated and it was very noisy between 12 midnight and 3am. Not a hotel problem but it was very hard to sleep.

８泊で利用しました。food pantryが隣にあるので日常の買い物に便利。レナーズのマラサダも売店風に売られていて、朝早いツアーに参加する時や、帰りの空港に向かう前に気軽に買えて良かったです。 昨年は系列店のオハナ　マリアを利用したため、場所の便利性で比較すると、DFSまでの距離や近隣施設はマリアの方が便利だと思いました。(ほぼ毎日の様にDFSに行った為） freeのピンクラインのトロリーやthe busの乗り場は近くて便利でした。 コインランドリーも利用しましたが、PM11:30でcloseする為waikikiで11時まで買い物して帰って来てからだと、バタバタでした。 レンタカーもしたのでパーキングも利用しましたが、1day$20で問題なく利用できました。 ちなみに駐輪場もありました。  […] プールは海帰りに少しだけ入りましたが、小さい為浸かる程度の感じで。デッキチェアーは割と数多く置かれてました。年配の方の利用者が多かったように思います。プールバーは見てる分には楽しそうでしたが、今回は利用しませんでした。 宿泊者は日本人が少なめだったので、町中よりは海外気分が味わえて良かったと思います。 出掛ける時、帰って来た時、スタッフが気さくに話しかけてくれてアットホームな雰囲気で良かったです。日本語を話せるスタッフには出会えなかったので、その辺苦労があるかもしれません。 また利用しても良いホテルだと思います。 Read more

今回初めてこのホテルを利用しました。 8泊の利用でした。 友達と2人でスタンダードの部屋に泊まり、2人でもぜんぜん問題なく宿泊できました。 エレベーター降りてすぐの角部屋でしたので、エレベーターを利用するお客さんの声が部屋にまる聞こえでしたが、私は気になりませんでした。 ホテルの下にバーがあるので、夜になるとその前に人だかりができて多少うるさいです。 ビーチまでは少し遠いですが、便利のいい場所にあると思います。 日本人客が少なく、まさに海外！！って感じで私は好きです。 この値段でここまで満足できると思いませんでした。 次も絶対このホテルに予約します。

にぎやかな活気あるホテルです。 ロビーはなぜか終始賑わっています。 毎日１つ２つ掃除し忘れやアメニティーの補充忘れはありましたが、まあしょうがないと思える程度で、部屋はきれいでした。 ゆったりのんびり高級感みないなものを求める方にはお勧めしませんが、値段に見合う満足度がしっかり得られると思います。
