The resort opens onto Kalakaua Avenue and stands one block from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the International Market Place bazaars. The resort continues a tradition of afternoon teas and sunset dinners on the Banyan Veranda shaded by a banyan tree's canopy and set within a breezy courtyard overlooking the beach. Buffet-style breakfasts and dinners are served at the Beachhouse. Lunches are served oceanfront at the Banyan Grill and Beach Bar. The hotel features a freshwater pool and private sandy beach with direct access from the property. A 24-hour business center offers fax, photocopy and print services. The Westin Workout by Reebok contains cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. The onsite spa offers body wraps, massages, and facial treatments.

The six-story Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa offers 792 guestrooms distributed across the Banyan building, the Tower and the Diamond wing. Select rooms offer ocean views. Mahogany and oak furnishings accent each room. Westin Heavenly Beds feature custom pillowtop mattresses, Hawaiian quilts, triple sheeting and feather pillows. Rooms include mini fridges. Wood, marble or granite vanities adorn the Heavenly bathrooms. Rooms are equipped with 32-inch LCD televisions. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee.

bin1901 - This fine-dining restaurant has an emphasis on wine, offering exotic and interesting selections. bin1901 can compose wine-tasting flights specifically chosen to enhance the flavors, characteristics and nuances of the dishes.
The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa now includes the Moana Lani Spa, A Heavenly Spa by Westin, Waikiki's first and only ocean front spa. An expansive 18,000 square foot spa features 16 treatment rooms, two ocean front couple's massage rooms with large soaking tubs, and balconies overlooking Diamond Head and the Pacific. The Moana Lani Boutique is adjacent to the spa, and offers guests the chance to purchase spa products and souvenirs after getting a spa service. After a morning of replenishment, guests can enjoy their private, roped-off sandy beach, with direct access from the property, with amenities such as lounge chairs and water sports equipment (fees may apply). A sundeck shaded by a banyan tree surrounds the freshwater pool.
Waikiki Beach, adjacent, offers many beach activities including snorkeling, catamaran sails, and canoe paddling; the resort can arrange these activities (surcharges may apply). A surfing school is also nearby (surcharge). Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa, offers signing privileges for dining, entertainment, and facilities (except pools) at three partner Starwood properties in Waikiki: The Sheraton Waikiki, Princess Kaiulani, and The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort.
Guests can also take advantage of the hotel's complimentary Westin Workout program, with state of the art equipment that provides a range of full-body exercises geared for travelers. If you're a runner, enjoy running maps provided by the resort in partnership with Runners Magazine with towels and cold water in the lobby.

We loved staying here mainly because the location is perfect right on the water, the rocking chairs out front were so relaxing, and the beds were super comfy. The downsides were the tiny little rooms. There is no room for anything. The street side rooms were crazy loud so we talked them into moving us to the courtyard. LOVE this hotel, will only stay here. Love the deal that includes breakfast - the morning buffet is delicious and the scenery is beautiful. We didn't want to do all the touristy things, just relax. So we did not get a car, and we walked to restaurants and shops around Waikiki. The pool is a little small but who needs it when you have the Pacific steps […] away? With the resort fee kids eat free with a paying adult, take advantage of this by the pool! At night we got a coffee and sat out front on the rocking chairs, a few nights a really good piano player was right behind us. Their gift shop is reasonable and has really nice things.
