The 21-floor Miramar at Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii offers 357 rooms, perfectly situated only a block from Waikiki Beach, adjacent to the International Marketplace and within walking distance of the Aquarium and the Honolulu Zoo. The hotel is strategically located on city bus lines transporting guests to Ala Moana Shopping Center, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, and other sights around the island.

Sammy's Restaurant, located on the fifth floor, is open for breakfast and dinner. Theater-style or banquet-style meeting space is available for up to 250 people. Wireless Internet connection is provided in the lobby and 5th floor pool deck free of charge.

Guestrooms at Miramar at Waikiki include "lanais" (balconies) overlooking the cerulean blue Pacific Ocean, Koolau Mountains or the city lights of Waikiki. The rooms also feature complimentary high-speed (wired) Internet access, flat-panel television, cable service with pay movies and premium channels, refrigerator, an in-room safe and daily housecleaning. Super Saver guestrooms are available for smokers.

Not a bad place for the price, I was alone on a business trip, so it was OK. "Nasty and Rude Receptionist"
Everything was good during our stay except the receptionist who was very nasty and rude. We were not allowed early check-in (checking-in time is 3 p.m.) despite pleading with her we had a long flight back from Ho Chi Minh City via Tokyo and was very tired. "Not a Family Friendly Hotel"
Everything was great about this hotel with one exception.....all the hookers that work just outside the front doors. Made several complaints to the front desk, they just smiled and said there was nothing they could do and that this area was " Like Vegas, a little on the wild side." "Decent Hotel"
Moved to this hotel from another hotel that was old and claustrophobic. The person at the desk couldn't give the rate that I had seen on Expedia and so used Expedia app to book room. The hotel is in a great location. International market Place next door and the walk to waikiki beach is less thatn 10 minutes. The hotel lobby is in good condition and the staff were very friendly and professional. "Not as anticipated"
Be prepared to pay for parking in advance - cash only. I chose to pay per day and by the end of my 6-day vacation, I had paid for parking 8 times, resulting in a significant overpayment. This hotel was picked because we thought we would get the best value for our price and we did. It isn't a fancy hotel but it was clean, the staff was good and our view was fantastic of the ocean. Additional front desk staff needed. Hotel room a bit highly priced for the condition, possibly needs new bedding. Maid service took away 'Do Not Disturb' sign after service the first night. The actual hotel is nothing special. It's a little older than some of the others. There was a pool, but no hot tub. It was close to everything, which made things convenient. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room, as I found a condom wrapper under my bed. "GOOD PRICE NOT SO CLEAN ROOMS"
Myself, my husband, my younger 30 something cousin and twenty something niece stayed here. This hotel needs better maintenance INSIDE the rooms. Housekeeping should do a much better job in the bathrooms ours felt a little unsanitary, but the location was great and staff friendly. We had a great balcony with city and ocean views. The city was hoping […] all around, well into the early morning hours. Loved sitting out on our balcony and seeing all the commotion. We did have to pay $18 a day for parking but for the price of the room and location it was worth it. You could walk anywhere so much to do all around. Easy walk to the beach, clubs, restaurants, shopping, tour pickup spots, and other major resorts with better shopping, bars and restaurants. Would not stay there longer than 4 – 5 days the beds will kill your back. I still recommend this hotel for those on a budget. The rooms are not fancy but location is so convenient. We previously had a booking at another hotel but changed to Mirimar because the other hotel didn't have a pool. We needn't have bothered because we couldn't swim in the pool at the Mirimar - it was absolutely freezing.
