The hotel was very clean, neatly decorated and in an awesome location - less than 3 minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but maybe this was due to the fact that prior to coming to stay here, we were in Maui for many nights at a very resort-like hotel with huge space. The hotel staff was attentive, but no special or extra […] niceties. Upon arrival I asked the reception to bring the luggage to our room, and it took nearly an hour. Also when I asked about parking options, they didn't care to explain to us what/where the self-parking location was so we just resorted to finding it on our own, which was diagonally across the street from the hotel. No major complaints, and you can save a decent sum of money by staying at this hotel - probably at the same level of accommodation provided by the beachfront properties nearby but definitely cheaper by being not right on the beach. It is a super short walk to the beach and on the way there you can stop by the ABC store, etc to get your daily needs. Read more

Not sure why this got so many low reviews. But if you dont need to be right there on the beach, this hotel is a 2 block walk to the beach. ABC store 1/2 a block...everything you need is well within walking distance. This being a Hyatt Place, it lives up to brand expectations if you have stayed at one. We used it as a place to sleep and HQ our gear for […] our day trips so for that purpose it was great. Our room was right around the corner from the elevator and I was worried it would be a problem...but for 3 days we didnt even notice it! Im sure there are higher end hotels out there, but of course you are going to be paying bigger bucks for it! This is an exceptional place at a reasonable price for the area. Our hotel was recently remodeled which made it very appealllng .It was two blocks from the beach and in an excellent location in Waikiki.Every tour we took had pick up at our hotel or across the street.The hotel staff from the front desk to the cleaning people did a very good job.I give them a overall 4 because we booked our room 5 months in advance […] for our anniversary and booked a room with a king size bed with water view and it was not available when we checked in.We were given compensation for their error and we did recieve an upgraded room to the penthouse floor, but would have rather had what we booked given our occasion there. Although the pool wasn't all that special, it really didn't matter since the hotel was just a short walk to Waikiki Beach. Valet parking is expensive. You cannot take drinks (alcohol) from their 24 hr. service/bar up to your room. "Ocean View" is extremely limited. Buffet is good. Location is excellent, just one block off the beach. Staff were all very helpful.

This was the nicest hotel we've stayed at. Continental breakfast was nice. Front desk service was great. Housekeeping could have been better, they weren't very friendly. Had to call a few times to get coffee packs and clean cups and glasses. I would stay here again definitely.

Breakfast starts at 6:30am till 9;30am, sometimes if you have booked any event to attend which may starts 6:45am bus pickup time infront of the hotel, you may have to skip your free breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was good. Overall the hotel is good.

There are a lot of positive thing about the hotel: - it is very very new and clean; - the general look is really impressive; - It is really 'value for money' deal, incuding the location close to the beach; - the breakfast is good. Since it is 'complimentary' you aren't supposed to require a full english breakfast, but it is a good continental one with […] lots of healthy options. However, there are a few things that could be improved: - don't be tempted by MOUNTAIN VIEW. It's not worth it (see photo); - there is no informative guest directory in the room; - information about checkout time was a bit confusing with the poster in the room saying it was 12pm and the hotel staff claiming it was 11am; - there was visible dust in public areas; - on the first night we had problems connecting to the hotel WIFI network and the staff could not help us since they don't have any IT specialists in their hotel. Instead, we were given a phone number of their IT services provider, which was not very helpful. In the end, we managed to solve the problem on our own; - finally, we received no oral apology upon arrival about the unauthorised charging of our card by the hotel earlier. The money, of course, was returned, in the end, but, in my opinion, an oral apology is a must in such cases. Read more

Almost all of the staff there were helpful and provided service with a smile. The housekeeper, Aniana was particularly pleasant and greeted us with a smile each and every day. The Happy Hour is somewhat of a joke and there are plenty of resturants within walking distance with better deals. The complimentary breakfast buffet is quite good, offering a variety of foods and plenty of it. They even have free Starbucks coffee. The hotel is very nice, clean, easy to get around and staff is very nice. The location is a bit far from the shopping and a larger variety of food establishments, but easy to get on major road to get to my son, daughter-in-law and grandkids. The pool is quite small and in somewhat of a wind tunnel, cold even on a very warm day, so didn't have a chance to enjoy that. I asked the receptionist about a complaint form and was told they would email to me, it's been over a week so I will vent here, sorry. The wonderful lady who took care of our room on Nov 16 through 21st or 22nd did a fantastic job, the next couple days were very disappointing, no extra toilet paper, no show mat, pushed our belongings pushed around on the floor instead of just vacuuming around them. Stayed 2 nights with 3 adults. Room 307 had queen beds with sitting area and small balcony. Plenty of space. Free breakfast was fresh but fills up fast. Trays are provided in room to carry meal back to your room if full. Staff friendly but stand offish. Hotel bar is nothing other than area to meet. Place is clean and reflects price paid.

A very nice hotel that is a two minute walk to Waikiki beach. The rooms were clean, excellent staff, and the breakfast was good. Although we got an ocean view king, we were blocked by the hotel, Aston Waikiki Beach. We had a little view of the ocean but a two minute walk to the beach made up for it.

Everything was wonderful I love how I can walk down to the beach and to the shopping area from where we stayed.there are a lots of restuarants nearby and the staffs really friendly. I wish they can add different good each day. Their breakfast, it was nice for the first few days but we stay there […] for like 8 nights and having to eat the same breakfast over and over was tiring. Plus I wish they have more activities going on around at the hotel especially on the weekend. The king size bedroom is a bit smaller than usual and even with the upgrade to ocean view, there was little to view. Stayed on the sixth floor and was a pleasant experience. Good location without the shopping crowd on the other side.
