"Mixed experience"
The assistant was taking a snap with TV on loud. It took me quite a while to wake him up by knocking at a door. Inside the room you can hear the traffic sound even if you keep the door and windows shut. The breakfast is among the simplest from all my previous trips. Will be staying here again, it's a good deal for the money (reasonable). Lot of traffic noise but goes away after 10:30-11:00 PM.At least they have a adequate cont--breakfast and coffee is OK. Need to put some decaf out in the rooms. Very small pillows, need at least four if you want to set up in bed. We almost decided not to stay because the hotel is actually between two intersecting busy streets. The road noise during the day was significant. "Rough around the edges"
The service attendant was very pleasant and helpful which was nice. The room was large and had all the main amenities you'd expect. My only two issues with this hotel were the breakfast and the neighborhood. I've been on the road for 2 weeks and this place had the worst breakfast out of the 14 other hotel/motels I've stayed at to that point. The covers for the coffee cups didn't even fit so I ended up nearly burning my hand as I walked back to my room with my coffee. Die Auswahl ist begrenzt: 2 Sorten Cornflakes, nur Toastbrot mit Butter und Marmelade, Gebäck, aber weder Käse noch Joghurt noch Obst. Das könnte man verbessern...Die Lage ist gut: mit dem Auto ist man in einer Viertelstunde in der Altstadt Eureka. Um allerdings das Hotel anzufahren, sollte man sich vorher mit dem Stadtplan und dem Einbahnstraßensystem vertraut machen, sonst fährt man am Hotel vorbei bis fast aus der Stadt raus, bis man es erst nach Umwegen wieder erreichen kann!
