The Little America Hotel is located one mile from Temple Square, EnergySolutions Arena, Clark Planetarium, Salt Palace Convention Center and Gateway Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nearby ski shuttles can take guests to 32 ski lifts and 332 ski runs.

The Little America Hotel's lobby is decorated in rich, warm tones and accented by French limestone fireplaces and polished, Spanish marble. This property offers five boutique shops, beauty services and in-room massage treatments. The hotel includes an indoor pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a fitness center. Discounted passes are available for full spa services at a neighboring property. Ski passes are available. Alpine skiing, equipment rentals, skiing lessons, and snow boarding can be found nearby. The hotel includes 22,000 square feet of meeting space with 18 separate rooms and a 9,000-square-foot ballroom. An on-site 24-hour business center provides high-speed Internet access (surcharge), photocopy, fax and other business services. Luggage storage and express check-out as well as garage and outdoor parking are complimentary during guests' stay. Private alcoves and a glowing fireplace attract diners to the Little America Steakhouse, where menu options include prime rib, seafood and steak entrees. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at The Coffee Shop.

The Little America Steakhouse - Prime rib, seafood, and steaks are on the menu at this casual restaurant with private alcoves and fireplace. Breakfast, lunch and dinner; daily breakfast and lunch buffets.
Coffee Shop - Airy and open, with a full wall of windows, this popular café draws locals who are on a first-name basis with the hosts. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
Wasatch Sports Club - Large-screen TVs, fireplace. Appetizers and drinks. Open from noon to late evening.
Le Petit Café - In the lobby. Pastries, coffee, milkshakes. Open early morning to evening.
With two pools to choose from, guests can swim and lounge indoors, or outdoors in the sun. An on-site fitness center has elliptical trainers, free weights, and a 50-inch plasma TV. Saunas are housed in men's and women's locker rooms.
Guests at Little America have access to the Grand Spa at the neighboring Grand America hotel for in-house rates. The Grand Spa features separate women's and men's spa areas, with private treatment rooms, eucalyptus steam rooms, and saunas.
Alta and Snowbird ski resorts are about 25 miles away in little Cottonwood Canyon; Solitude and Brighton are about 30 miles away in Big Cottonwood Canyon; Deer Valley, Park City, and The Canyons are 34 miles away through Parley's Canyon. Ski passes are available.

I have no idea how people can like this place. The rooms were small and crummy and the noise level from A/Cs were unbearable. We could hear a loud humming noise from the A/Cs of the adjacent rooms all night. Suffice it to say we got very little sleep. Terrible experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I was stuck in a motel kind of room next to a major road-fairly low grade room. I had to drag my bags up concrete steps ( or pay which I don't normally need to do). This was our first stay in a garden room. We were not happy due to the proximity from hotel amenities and the excessive noise factor. The Coffee Shop located in the main hotel has the most delicious rolls ever! The food is very good, with generous portions, and the service is friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. A marvellous stay. The equipment of the rooms from the bed, linen to the amenities is first class. A 4 1/2 star hotel from Stowe could learn a lot! we loved everything about our stay at the little america. we traveled from 250 miles north of SLC to take our daughter to disney on ice for a reward for good grades. the hotel is easy to find off of i-15, had a extremely courteous and helpful staff and the accommodations were top shelf. the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and wonderful pillows.
