"Friendly staff, clean room"

Usually get a great deal. Rooms are big, but need to be updated. Very easy to get to and avoid city center traffic although its downtown. The restaurant and bar closes too early. "Just a great hotel"
My wife and I booked this hotel on the way to Washington for Christmas and we couldn't have been happier. For the price I didn't expect much and we were blown away at the quality. Our room was massive with plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. The hotel itself does have a few sloppy parts if you're looking hard but it's […] nothing to deter you loving this place. There wasn't much to walk to but the area was safe. We were up on the 6th floor and the view from the window was beautiful. The front desk staff when checking in were super friendly and made you really feel welcomed. The only complaint I have if I had to come up with one was the fact they have sealed the balcony doors to the rooms for energy conservation and the only reason that was a problem was due to me being a cigarette smoker. Very helpful at check in. Gave me information about the area. Also a city map and directions to the sports arena we were going to, Told us about the cafe and dining options. Room was extremely clean. "A good choice, esp for a short stay downtown"
Pros: Great location in SLC; nearly on-demand shuttle that takes you to the SLC airport or even to Temple Square!; friendly, helpful staff including nice shuttle drivers; a gift shop for essentials you forget as well as fancy knock knacks you don't need; dining options including a bar, a casual restaurant that will deliver room service, and fancier […] dining with a view; comfortable beds and rooms with the essentials including really solid cable tv offering; wi-fi available though I didn't try it. This hotel also offers what looked like a good, basic exercise room, conference rooms, and I think a pool somewhere. Cons: Older hotel; not a neighborhood to roam around in; some traffic noise; tiniest hotel shampoo/conditioner i've ever seen; breakfast is only included on some types of reservations likely not with third party booking sites--but no big deal since kids eat free under a certain age, breakfast is reasonably proced per person, and you still save enough money through booking site to make it worth it. I got stranded at the airport and needed a comfortable, safe place to stay with a reliable shuttle so I wouldn't havering get a car. I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay again. Our stay was nice and the hotel staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and cozy. The cafe wasn't anyting special and it was a little pricey for breakfast.
