    Very friendly staff...best part of the hotel. Rooms were ok, but I will say the inside of the rooms look a lot better than the outside of the hotel. Once we were inside of the room, we saw that the microwave and tv were on its last leg. There were no washclothes in the room and the blankets/comforters were TOO THIN and scratchy.

    One of our beds, room 109, was completely broke down and I had to share a bed with the other guest in my room. There weren't enough towels and coffee and clean sheets were too much to ask for.

    This was a cheap place to stay. The bed was comfortable and there was cereal, waffles, juice and coffee in the morning. If you are like me and all you want is a place to sleep and a quick breakfast before you leave in the morning, this place was fine. Conveniently located just off the exit about 15 minutes from downtown.

    I expected to get a low budget room for the price, BUT........the room smelled awful, even after 11 nights burning candles and leaving baking soda in the room the whole time. The TV reception was the worst.......I received about 5 channels that I could see with out static.     The hotel seems to need a major wipe down and fixing up. Toilet kept flushing all night. Carpet needs some cleaning. Bathroom door did not latch. No towels until requested. The front desk however was very helpful in providing what was needed. Continental breakfast was good.

    The pool was filthy. The alarm clock didn't work. The phone did not work. I had no towels the 1st night & had to hunt some down for the second night. My last morning I found a large roach in the bathroom. This motel is located among abandoned warehouses. My reccommendation is to go to the next exit where there are better motels- a little more expensive […] but well worth it. All of the restaurants are also at that next exit. Read more

    I will admit that the staff was ultra friendly, however I would not recommend that anyone stay here. My room smelled of stale cigarettes. The TV only had 7 working channels and they were all fuzzy. You had to operate the TV w/o the remote as the remote was missing the back and had syrup on it.     Upon check-in the desk clerk was very nice and cheerful, Had no problems with the staff, However, The room only had one towel, We didn't receive any clean towels the second day, and two of the three lights in the room were burnt out. Linens were clean but had cigarette burns, Fridge smelled funky, and the fire alarm went off several times.

    This Super 8 Was not clean inside or out. The guy who greeted me when I got there was friendly, the girl when I left was less friendly and openly yawned in my face. They have a lot of people that live/stay there for months. My room was on the second level, it had a drop ceiling which was broken and looked like it was going to fall down in some areas. […] There was fingernail clippings on the one side of the bed my entire stay.. Wanted to see how long it would take for someone to vacuum.. Well that never happened. The bottom of the fridge was dirty, there were cig burns in the bedspread, and blanket. Room cleaning was very slow, it took until 6pm one day and I had to chase her down for fresh towels. The pool was absolutely gross, it was filled with bugs and the water was very slimy.     I'm really not that picky at this hotel is in the middle of an industrial area is not well maintained, and had some shady looking people around. Our air barely worked, the pool was dingy, and there wasn't even a gas station nearby.     This was one of the cheapest hotels available and I still was overcharged. Not a good neighborhood. I had smoke smell coming in from the vents in my non-smoking room. The bed was hard and bent up at the head and down by the foot. Holes and cracks in the ceiling. The breakfast was fine but I would not recommend this hotel.

    Our rooms did not have any clean towels. there was dead roaches in the restroom and room. Found one live roach on one of the beds. Other than that the service at the breakfast was great. Great friendly personnel.

    the "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke. Outside the door smelled bad. There was no iron/board. The neighborhood was very run down. The maid service was minimal. They took the towels but did not replace them. the bed was made shabbily.

    We requested a non smoking room and it stunk! You cant take a previously smoked in room, and turn it into a non smoking room unless you redo everything in there! The front desk boy had no knowledge of anything there. I am actually thinking we should have been paid to stay there instead of us paying. Bad experience!!

    we tried to get wifi in the room it wouldn't work we told the lady at the front desk and she said well it should work when we tried again and told her again that it would not work she just ignored us. we were asleep and thank goodness that we had the security bar on the door because they rented the same room to someone else and they used their card […] to open our door, then if that wasnt enough we laid back down, young kids sleeping, and the phone rings and its the front desk apologizing--i'm trying to talk low so the kids don't wake up. we went to breakfast the next am and had to ask for bowls anf for waffle mix then the milk was sour--curdled. it was NOT a good experience at ALL. we stayed here before a coupl,e of years ago and it was a lot better than it is now it is just run down and lack of interest from the owners and most employees.     I have mixed emotions about this motel. I chose it because it was far cheaper than any other hotel in the area of Six Flags - St. Louis. With that in mind, I had to calibrate my expectations. Here are the facts about my stay: The room was reasonably clean, but needed paint. The carpet was in good shape. The under-window-style air conditioner was quiet […] enough. The furniture was old. The beds were firm and comfortable, but the fitted sheet on mine had a cigarette burn through it. The television was probably 30 years old, but the picture was watchable. The shower curtain was attractive, but made of cloth that leaked, soaking the bathroom floor, and the water temperature changed several times as I showered. The bathroom fixtures were in good shape. The room had a functioning refrigerator. The towels were pretty rough, and we were not provided with washcloths or hand towels either night of our stay. I had to go to the front desk to get them. The room had 1/3 roll of toilet paper when we checked in and no spare roll, so I had to go to the desk to get that as well. We didn't try the free breakfast. We checked out with our possessions intact and neither of us contracted a bacterial infection or parasites. In short, it's humbling to stay at this motel, but if saving money is your goal, I wouldn't be afraid to stay there. It will definitely make you appreciate coming home, though. Read more
