"There are lots of Drury Inns around this one"
This one seems to be the oldest Drury in the area. The room was OK. The beds were adequate, but the mattress kept shifting off the box spring. The shower drained very slow and the breakfast was good. We liked everything about the hotel except for the size of our room. We had a king room and the bathroom was teeny. The sink was out in the main part of the room, with the shower and toilet in a very small space. We noticed in passing the double queen room had a larger bathroom with everything inside. We could also hear others going to the bathroom […] in the night when it was quiet. I think that's a hard thing to hide in a hotel and I've heard it in others so wasn't too put off by it. The staff was very pleasant. The room was nice, with refrigerator and microwave. The carpet in the room was clean (that's the first thing I usually observe). The breakfast was pretty good. The afternoon kickback is ok, but they serve the same food every day - I was supposed to stay there for 5 nights, got tired of chicken fingers and hot dogs on day […] two. During my stay there were a bunch of families with little kids all over the place. You had to wait in line during the kickback to get your drink because there is no real bar, just one (sometimes two) people serving drinks, which was the same line to then go on to get your hot dog or chicken fingers (remember those families with a bunch of little children??). The rooms were very quite, they allow pets (the main reason for my stay there) and the price is fair. It has a Denny's on one side and Cracker Barrel on the other. "Not what I expected but decent"
When I called ahead the desk clerk was very rude, but once we got there everyone was nice. The room was much smaller then I was expecting for a "deluxe king". It didn't have a separate living area, just a chair. I had got it to be able to put the crib in a slightly separate room so this was disappointing. We were right above the lobby and could hear the phone ringing all night and could also hear the people at breakfast VERY early. The pool was open but was not heated.
