"One night stay"
The people who worked at the hotel were very nice and attentive to our needs. The first room we were given was filles with a horrible smoke smell from the previous people. Even the sheets smelled like ciggaretts. We had to leave that room and they found us another room a few doors down. I liked the fact that there was food available for breakfast but […] it was understaffed and a mess. No clean tables and a lot of the food was not getting restocked. We went ahead and went next door to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I am not a pet owner but thought it was nice that they take pets for those people who travel with them. Decent price. Loved the kickback. However our room key did not work when we went to our room and after the 5 trip back to the front desk getting new keys set up we had to change our rooms. We had 2 children with us and were in our swim suits. It was very inconvenient. "Just off the freeway"
The room and the bed were OK. But the pillows were so small and flat, it was not comfortable to sleep. If the hotel issues only four small pillows for a king sized bed, maybe extra pillows should be in the room so that the people can use them if needed. Didn't sleep all that well with the small/flat pillows. The bath is small for one in the United States. […] Only time i''ve seen others smaller is in Europe. Love the extras; soda fountain, popcorn, alcoholic drinks, afternoon snacks are a plus. However waiting 3-5 minutes for the elevator along with most of the other guest gets old quickly. "Nice hotel with extras that don't cost you"
We mostly just slept here.. didn't spend alot of time in the hotel nor did we get to take advantage of all the extras.. but the hot breakfast was good and they had fresh popcorn when we arrived about 8:30 that night.. Great friendly and prompt service. The rooms are very small however and there were little things that were irritating like no changing room near the pool. "Difficult to get to - wrong room! Lady was in the SHOWER!"
The hotel was right on a major highway but was difficult to get to. It was very noisy and was not very close to anything other than Cracker Barrel and Dennys. The free hot breakfast and evening snacks and beverages were nice, but it was difficult to get to the hotel to enjoy them by 7:00. I was given a key to the wrong room, the occupant was in the […] shower. The hotel allowed dogs, it was no problem. I travel for business and pleasure regularly and was expecting a little more for the star level of this hotel. This was comparable to a cheap Motel 6 or equivillant. Would be good for families on a budget. The free breakfast and 5 - 7 hot snacks would save some money. The pool was decent but very chlorinated. I will opt out next time and stay at a hotel with more stars/amenities and a better location. Therer was a Drury INn a few miles down the road that I accidently stopped at - it looked much nicer. "Needed a thorough cleaning in the lobby and food service area"

"Drury Hotel Fenton: OK, but look elsewhere first"
Hotel was just average at best. Hotel staff was rude on phone prior to our stay. Buffet in PM was JUNK food! Nothing healthy served at all! If you're looking to watch what you eat, this is NOT the place to get your dinner so don't use this hotel just for the free dinner. Breakfast was nothing special. All times were a mad house with Lines all the way […] down the first floor hallway. It Felt like a soup kitchen line. Milk and OJ were not refilled regularly at breakfast/dinner. One morning we had to wait almost 45 minutes for milk while they borrowed it from the hotel next door. Hotel never had regular coffee refilled, only decaf. Pool is VERY small and VERY busy! I do NOT recommend this pool for small kids as the bigger ones over take the whole area. Drive to Six Flags was not bad (15 minutes) and this hotel was cheaper than the ones right next to Six Flags. That's the whole reason we stayed there, but it was not worth it and if we had to do it over again, would not stay at this hotel; we'd spend the money for one of the closer hotels. "Drury Inn Fenton, MO"
We love staying at Drury Inns wherever we go. We love the free breakfast and all that it offers as well as the free cocktails in the evening. However, this one did not meet our expectations. The elevator was dirty and their were stains all over the carpet. In our room, the bed was really comfortable, but the bathroom door was filthy. And at breakfast […] the next morning, the place was packed and the tables were all dirty. We had to clean one off ourselves in order to sit down.
